Pinch of salt and all that - Sportitalia reporting overnight that WH £35m bid for Piatek has been accepted subject to the “gentlemen’s agreement” between Genoa and AC.

Whatever that may or may not mean.

The source of the news should tell you everything you need to know.

If something real happens then it will be mentioned in multiple places. I think we all know that the most reliable sources are here (eds and ironmike), Ken Dyer and ExWhuemployee. If none of them have mentioned something then it’s a safe bet it’s not true. Unless 2 or 3 of these break news then it’s a waste of time even thinking about it.

Milan are in the driving seat it’s the players preferred choice. And Milan’s preffered player so WH are waiting and watching post bid, but are on the sidelines here. Hope that explains it. IRONMIKE.
