CRAP performance, loads of possession. And done comparatively nothing with it, we are not a proper outfit to bother anybody as yet, maybe too many games tiredness creeping in, missed once again the chance to jump up the league, And that's why no consistency -- Which in the end is the difference, between the top and the middle of the league, and that's where we are. IRONMIKE.

Shocking. Don’t tell me that’s the run done. Yes I agree mike could be the games catching up but Burnley been in the same boat they wanted it more, they won every battle on that pitch. Horrible to watch to be honest, I know we play this high line and it works to an extent, but it was the same last year, everyone knows Burnley play two up top but we still play high, bite ya pride and change formation we can’t be a one trick pony.

Don’t agree with this tiredness nonsense they should try a real job before they can say they are tired. Train for a few hours a day, eat the right food, top medical care and well rewarded, we supporters would run through a brick wall to be wearing the claret and blue shirt. Mike you are right we are still developing as a square and will probably need a least 3 more transfer windows to even think about being in the top 8 bracket.

I'm fuming with the team selection how the f--k did he replace OBIANG with NOBLE (who's legs are gone and ain't nowhere near his worth in the 1st team) i ain't having the fatigue bollocks it's a very lame excuse they always blame the schedule it's the same for everybody you never hear a winning team complaining and why it ain't saying the team have played well in the last month but when it saw this fixture and BURNLEY struggling in thought this would happen it's simple they wanted it more fact . The overreaction for this result is amazing.
For those saying they want to try a real job etc etc, what a load of nonsense. Tiredness and fatigue is a big factor. Especially with so many players out and a lack of options. This is a reason the majority of teams want a winter break. It is an issue. The extra days rest for Burnley was a big factor.
I can understand the furore if this was one of many poor results but it isn’t. So why are you complaining? This is a tough, difficult league to play in.

Short of players, tired. Who cares? Chuffed to be where we are given the start we had.
Arnie is back, Lanzini February unless mistaken plus others to come back - we will be fine.
Ps. Any players needed for the charity match? 33 y. o. and still fit playing rugby week in week out.

Hi bucky I disagree totally mate these players get told what to eat have dieticians and are as fit as fleas your telling me 24 hours difference was the reason for our performance sorry mate but I just don't buy it we made a very average team look like barcelona you contradicted yourselve by saying it's a tough league that's the reality bucky it is so we need to get on with it and stop blaming the fatigue cost us the game we were a million miles from winning that game and why I ain't comparing us to the top sides they just find a way of winning and BURNLEY no disrespect but they have been found out from last season and can only play one way and we couldn't work it out I will tell you why we lost LACK OF EFFORT and winning second balls and closing down that's why we lost not because we were tired bucky you are entitled to your opinion mate but I will never buy the fatigue bollocks we had 48 hours to recuperate plenty for me they do it in the EUROPA league no problem i'm not saying it's ideal but just get on with it. COYI.

Fatigue isn’t the only reason of ckurse. But it’s a factor for sure. One set of fresh legs was Mark Noble and he’s hardly mobile so even the fresh legs were not the best. Turf Moor is a big pitch too.

Ultimately they indeed wanted it more, like you say, but to say fatigue is not a viable excuse is wrong.

I wonder how the Championship players manage with two games every week. Poor mites, they must be permanently exhausted.
