Oxford scouted by City and Dortmund?

His failure to push on from that fantastic Arsenal game is reportedly due to attitude.

If he had Snoddy’s approach, he could have been a star for us. (Smacks of Ravel)

If the DGS issue about Rice’s contract is based on the mistake they made with Oxford (too much too early), they have got it massively wrong. Comparing Rice’s thoroughly professional work ethic with Oxford’s figjam.

As I said in the rumours, and based on nothing but the fact I don’t think DGS are as stupid as people may suggest and that agents have no club loyalty and have a lot of influence and players have little loyalty anymore, it could very well be that the agent of Rice has told him to say all the right things in public and also as reported not to negotiate till season end like that is a decision of let’s play football and get on with that messy stuff later but in fact puts him in a very good position to negotiate with others.

Agree with Sdl, stinks of agent influence.
Contract he was offered wasn't bad and allowed for increase upon appearances etc, which he would certainly meet. Our board have also proven that they would improve contracts upon good performances, e. g. Diafra Sakho got an improved contract waaaay before it needed renewal as he was performing well, so no reason for Rice to think he would be stuck on 20k-30k for long. This is Agent influence mostly, and i also have a feeling it may have something to do with FFP
Watever it is we will find out by the end of Jan.
