Chaps, a question for you, is the team playing with more freedom when Arnies not playing, instead of trying to get the ball through to him all the time it's now going all across the front and the goals are now being spread out, I know the teams that we've played recently are not the top teams but they've still got to be beat?, don't get me wrong, Arnie is fantastic but what would you do if a massive bid come in for him?

Not now but end of season take the money, every player has a price, 50 m plus grab it get two or three excellent younger players in , brains needed in sorting it out but that’s how less wealthy clubs can build up. IRONMIKE.

Stevie, absolutely agree with Arnie quote, even said the same in answer to Whorya earlier! Never thought I would say it, but not missed at all imo, perhaps others were in awe of him, everything was about Arnie, now we know it’s not, goals coming from everyone now👍👍⚒⚒.

Good post Stevie funnily enough in Commiserations Corner after yesterday's game we asked the same question even wondered if we had already seen Arnies last game for us personally I hope not but if a big offer comes and seeing he is out till at least the 10th January it could be a scenario.

It is amazing to develop a 'hamstring injury' that will take until the transfer window to heal. Call me skeptical but am always dubious of hamstring injuries.
In all honesty, he kept us up last year and do not begrudge him a chance to play at a higher level - hopefully a bid in excess of 40m comes in and we can reinvest in another top player, Danny Welbeck will be available cheap and may be an option to cover until end of year?

Glen, me and you mate the biggest sceltics🤣😂I have done a turnaround on Arnie, thought we couldn’t do without him, now I’m get rid of him, him and his brother seem to have to high an opinion of themselves👎 Honestly think that Arnie now thinks he’s West Ham, liken his attitude a bit to who he models himself on, Z Ibrahimovic! He wants to go so let’s get used to being without him, we’ve hardly done badly without him👍👍⚒⚒⚒.

Hmm. Whilst there may be something in that, don’t forget the lack of quality in the sides we’ve beaten recently.

Similarly, our next few games are against lower class opposition.

Arnie has become a high quality CF since Moyes put him there. He is not a selfish player, runs hard and creates plenty of space for others.

I would rather not see him leave, but football is a business and money talks. He has been great for us after a terrible first few games and has made a huge difference to the side.

If he moves on, I’ll wish him well.

Gabigol, anyone?

Arnie is still our best over all player don't forget that. I guarantee if you asked opposition managers which one West ham player would you most fear it would be arnie. I would only sell for 75 m or cash plus a player such as loftus cheek or welbeck or lingaard someone who would genuinely improve our squad. It won't be easy to replace him as our centre forward talisman. I don't think I need to make examples that prove once we find a top quality dangerous physical willing player with a proven record of scoring and creating hugely important goals for us WE SHOULD NOT SELL THEM unless necessary due to finances or player demotivation which is not the case. I say keep him improve in central midfield and left full back. Europe still very realistic this year. Possible long cup run too, let's not shoot ourselves in the foot. Coyi.
