It looks like Man Utd early favorites to sign Arnie, so my question to you guys is, are there any players from Utd that you would like to see come the other way, e. g. Lukaku isn't exactly pulling up trees at Utd like he was at Everton but could he do a job for us, I'm just asking the question, we see far to offten players playing well for a club then wanting to go to a so called bigger club then not quite working out, any thoughts chaps.

Don’t be surprised to see Chelsea as early contenders and, of course, European sides will perk their ears up.

My hope is that he agrees to the end of the season.

Will be sick to see him go if it happens😩😩😩😢😢😢 but it seemed inevitable it would happen with all the attention he’s been attracting, what will he achieve with us apart from adoration👏👏 doubt if Lukaku would want to come to us anyway somehow? I would think Pellegrini will be looking overseas as usual as we have nobody to step up to give a chance to? Can only but hope that maybe it doesn’t happen🙏🙏⚒⚒⚒.

No doubt it will happen at some stage. Hopefully at the end of the season and he doesn’t do a Payet. I know it shows my age but I hate the fact there is no loyalty but what loyalty should an Austrian, Frenchman or anyone else have to an English club that isn’t winning trophies tbf? Sadly unless things change we will see the conveyor belt continue to bring players in that will leave in 2-3 seasons no matter how much they say they love the club in between time. No doubt players like Diop, Rice, Anderson etc won’t be spending their careers at West Ham and we just have to hope we buy better than we sell.

In all honesty cannot see anyone buying a 30 year old who will cost around £50m.
If, as I suspect, Arnie is pushing for a wage rise to 150-200k cannot say I blame him when Hernia (sorry, bloke is always injured/ lazy so my nickname) is on 140k.
Own opinion is that if a club comes in with over 45m, take it and reinvest in a decent striker and a back up from South America. Otherwise, give him and Rice *exactly* what they want.

Not sure why he would go to Man Utd. They will not make the Champions league next year so it would be a futile attempt by Marko if he wants to play CL football. IF Utd get to the next stage this year then he is unlikely to play many games in CL as he will need to settle etc and TBH Man Utd won't last long as they should have been out already but got lucky vs Juve.
Were it to happen in January it HAS to be a team where he would get first team football, CL football this year, nailed on for CL football next year, who need him right NOW, and has the cash to spare. Chelsea are the only realistic option in the UK right now. For this reason i think Marko will be with us until the end of the season.
