We should surely get a result on Wednesday against Spurs, I know we have to consider the Premiership but they only played City on Monday. I suppose that's the joys of playing in Europe, hope we never do that unless we have a mammoth squad, it must knacker and cause to many injuries to key players! The financial gains cannot outweigh staying in the Premiership surely unless you win the ultimate Champions League which is unlikely! We know it can gain worldwide recognition for a club which for commercial reasons is great, so I suppose it's a matter priorities! âš’âš’âš’âš’.

Fully agree Chelmsford if you can’t beat an average spurs side with 24 hours rest you need to start supporting Southend, you will win your cup final tomorrow but don’t go partying too hard on the jellied eels or pie and mash as you know you will be out next round as usual.

Raver, your replies really make me chuckle, good sense of humour mate, I totally forgot about you when I posted this, have known better😂 you will crucify us if we can’t beat your pub team tonight😂😂 but of course my excuse will be that we’ll have several youngsters out and it is a Mickey Mouse trophy, some pretend to take it seriously but they wil get a real b———- from all quarters if they demean the competition, the FA Cup is still a meaningful competition but not this one. I would never attend an evening game now especially in winter freezing cold, as I see no pleasure getting home at midnight, to old for that now mate😂😂 COYI⚒⚒⚒⚒.

If Spurs can't beat a 2nd string WHU team given their Squad and only 1 first team injury then they need to start supporting Luton Town
Adrian, Fredricks, Ogbonna, Diop, Masuaku, Rice, Snodgrass, Obiang, Diangana, Antonio, Hernandez.
Only 3 first team players in that line up for me (Diop, Rice, Obiang), so if this is the likely team we put out then it will be an embarrassment for Spurs to lose tonight. They have a fantastic squad of players, everyone ripped them for not signing players in summer, but they still have an incredible team and squad far better than most. Most Spurs fans were saying "how do we improve" or that there was nobody available who would improve them. Their position in the league proves they have a great squad, they have won playing under 100%.
Don't believe the talk that Spurs have just had 48 hours etc either, we have a host of critical players out in our team and are in a FAR wortse position, and the current Prem fixtures we have are must wins against the teams around us (Burnley are poor but we cannot take it for granted) . Spurs are all but out of the Champs League, they are not City, Liverpool or Chelsea and hence scrapping for 4th spot with Arsenal this year in the league. This is their cup final and is a real opportunity for them to finally get some silverware with this incredible team they have. Eriksen, Alli, Son, Winks, Aurier and Wanyama all did not start vs Man City and will be fresh and up for the game tonight. The fact Eriksen, Alli, Son and Winks were all left out proves that this competition is high on their priorities, and that they know they cannot keep up with City over a season.

Very well thought out post Nickinho👍 Makes a lot sense👍👍 agree with comments on Spurs squad and play, Poch is an excellent manager with a suitably excellent squad to manage and organise which he does admirably! Didn’t realise who was still available to him, will pick the game up on Live Radio tonight👍👍Hernandez, Snodgrass, and Antonio up front if that is the team are all Championship standard and can see Spurs comfortably snuffing them out, Diangana looks decent but needs the games to improve⚒⚒⚒COYI.

Poch is an incredible manager, Levy really should have backed him this summer with a big signing. Premier league could lose one of its best managers soon if Levy does not get his act together.
I would love to see us go for the cup and see Arnautovic and Anderson start.

Nick, the way I’m feeling about Spurs lately, I would rather support Luton Town. As for Chelmsford, you are missing a trick with the mid week winter matches. I love them as it's a good excuse for the wife to warm the raver up when he gets home 😍.
