Mike I get the impression your not keen on Pellegrini, lol, who would you say would be a good fit for us, I would’ve liked a younger manager like an Eddie Howe or Brendon Rogers, I would also like to see an out ‘n’ out striker play with Arnie, any thoughts mate.

What on earth would Howe or Rodgers want to come to WH for in there position Would you? No it will be a fire extinguisher first, unless a miracle turn around happens and don’t bet on that at least Avram Grant was Charlie cheap money, this imposter isn’t. IRONMIKE.

Money talks Mike, West Ham could probably double Howes wages, and I thought these managers liked a challenge, well there’s no bigger challenge than this at the moment.

Mike is right, why would Howe leave Bournemouth to come to WHU? Wouldn’t th express call that a step backwards for him? I just hope we can turn this around somehow and get this season going . If we get to 10 games and nothing changed then dgs will have to pull the trigger, swallow a bitter pill and beg Moyes back, he did well with dross last year ( this years dross is better )

Firstly Bournemouth are a rich club the owner is richer than Sullivan, so let’s put the money talks theory to bed and this CANNOT ago any longer than 7 games, most clubs now accept that 38 points gets you safe in the modern era This is because the top four clubs get so many points on the table —— Once 10 games go past, 38 points from 28 games is in practice impossible And we will be relegated the axe is already hovering no matter what is spoken in public IRONMIKE.

{Ed002's Note - It is nothing about how rich owners are. The money is constrained by FFP.}

OK I am just explaining that little Bournemouth are not listed in the skint column MIKE.

{Ed002's Note - None of the English PL sides are because of the amount of income they have. The problem is those with debt, and those with increasing debt - so Manchester United, Liverpool and particularly Liverpool. Regardless, the problem remains spending well or simply spending to appease the fans. Recruiting well or recruiting to appease the fans.}

I’m hoping that the players start to work together but I am certain there was reason that most of our purchases were players not wanted or just squad players at their clubs. We paid a lot of money but not for players worth a lot of money. I’m also totally unimpressed with Wilshire - too slow not just in running but in thinking. Sadly also no matter what he thinks himself Arnie is not a natural striker and if we are counting on him hitting enough goals on his own up front by we are lost.

With the squad WH have assembled 38 points is possible in 28 games.
28 x 3 = 84 (no, we will not get that! )
So already we have: 4 games played for 0 points. By ten games we *may have 2/ 3/ 4 points (depends on Everton and Brighton results)
However the next run of games sees us play a run of beatable teams (bar Man City) until Arsenal in January. That's ten games with a max of 30 points available. I reckon 20 points is expected with our squad, that will leave us needing another 20 by end of season and there are some easier games in the second half of the season.
Yes, we should have beaten Wolves and Bournemouth but am hoping the team gets better with Lanzini still to come back. Would appreciate a defensive set up against Everton and really go for a point, just to bring back some belief to the team.

I love the optimism but what makes you think we have a good squad? Yarmolenko, Anderson, Wilshire, Perez all didn’t get games at their old clubs - not really a good sign. The others were championship or French league, not great either. We just paid a lot for average players. As for Cardiff and Huddersfield why write them off? Cardiff looked okay v Arsenal, better than us anyway and Huddersfield survived last season. Not trying to suggest all doom and gloom but I wouldn’t look to others being weaker as a positive. Remember we went down once with the squad that couldn’t be relegated not that long ago.

if eddie howe is offered three times his salary he will come don't worry about that the problem is if we get permis sion to speak to him which i doubt and if howe asks to speak to us which i think he would but i think he will get another 6 games imo. coyi.

SDL, just being positive. We have enough talent to swap players around if it isn't working. Some simple tactical changes would make all the difference.
352/ 3511 with Wilshere and preferably Rice as DM (personal opinion) Otherwise the players can pretty much be rotated given their form in training.
I am eyeing that run in late November through to December to really save us in all honesty.
