Hi lads, I hope like you are all saying gives these couple of young lads Silva and Diop a go, think that's there names because al be honest not heard of them until they arrived same as pretty much all the others except Wilshire. I agree noble and Wilshire army meant to be in the same team, not starting, I've always liked noble for years but like us all he's getting slower so I think he should be on the bench now, he can still do it but not for 90 mins and that's not a bad thing after all. These lads need time to gel it's true but I hope it's sooner rather than later otherwise MP will be gone, but let's face it he needs to change stuff tactics wise, I hope is vision becomes clear to us all at some point, but personally I didn't see it at the stadium on Saturday and neither did a lot of others. I didn't enjoy it, sounded like we should have gone over to the Olympic park to that modern rave they sounded like they were having a great time lol, hopefully our fortunes turn, and I would love it to be at arsenal, that would help no end, but I feel if we play the high line like we r with Ogbonna and Balbuena we r doomed, Masuaku needs pushing forward bring in Cresswell. Take out noble bring in obiang or move Anderson in as a free role seeing as tho that's what he did Saturday anyway, here I'm no tactician and I think a lot of u will be saying no that's stupid but surely anything is better, or grow some balls MP and play the two young lads that u paid a lot of money for. I also like oxford, if he gets his big head out of his ass he could be so special for us. Hope this hasn't ruined your dinner breaks reading this essay lol.

Morning Whitby was wondering where you had got too after Saturdays debacle. lol

Think we are all agreed we love Noble but he's that time in his career when he needs to take a back seat and give some help to the younger guys who are up and coming

Remember Kevin Nolan we all new that he was no longer up for the pace 18 months before the end. I'd hate to see Noble be remembered in the same way after all his time at West Ham

Times change and we all have to move on I'm just hoping all the new signings can gel and play as a team.

I'm in Amsterdam so could only listen live and see MOTD, but everyone said the same. 2 slow sideways passers in CM, no steel. In addition they really slated Snodgrass due to lack of pace when in a wide role and Arthur for his defensive frailties. If us mere mortals can see this, I do hope it's just MP learning and the new players learning and gelling. You can use Fredericks and Arthur with 3 CB's but both too open with a back 4, especially if no CDM. I know MP favours 442 or 4231 but I do get the feeling that 3/ 5 at the back suits squad the best, just not sure he's comfortable with that formation. 5-1-3-1 really seems to be the best with our squad, as long a the 1 is a CDM
Fabianski
Diop
Ogbonna
Balbuena
Artur
Fredericks
Obiang/ Sanchez/ Rice
Anderson
Wilshire
Yarmolenko
Arnie.

Hi mercerl, I returned back up north to sunny Whitby on Sunday morning with a bit of a hangover from drowning my first home game sorrows in drink.
I agree about noble, I’m not saying he’s rubbish or past it I believe he can still do a job but as a back up, sub from the bench for last 15 or 20. But I think we will be right, but realisticly, the longer it takes to sort, people can kiss goodbye to 8th place, maybe he’s thinking of slowly getting it sorted for next year or a progression thing but personally I would like a bit more steel and get it done now.
