Who thinks 4-4-2 with a midfield diamond could be the way to go, so you'll have Fab in goal, Zabaleta or Fredericks, Balbuena, Diop, Cresswell, Sanchez in front of defense, Yarmolenko and Anderson on the wings Wilshere behind Arnautovic and Hernandez or Perez?

Id play 4-1-3-2 mike always said it my team would be FABIANSKI, FREDDERICKS, DIOP, BALBUENA, OGBONNA, OBIANG, ANDERSON, WILSHIRE, YARMOLENKO, CHIQUARITO, ARNAUTOVIC and yes i'd play OGBONNA at left back he's left footed and a better defender than cresswell at defending taller and quicker. COYI.

Hiya Ed what's your views on NOBLE mate as i think he ain't good enough for premier league imo and i'd play OGBONNA at left back he's left footed quick enough and strong in the air like i said he's played there for the old lady and imo is better defensively than MASUAKU and CRESSWELL and hadnt MP done his homework that MASUAKU is a winger or left mid and can't defend i understand ED we had injurys but like you said obuang should have started imo i personally would have played DIOP BALBUENA and OGBONNA as L/ B but it wasnt the defence who were asked to play like they ain't use to playing that higher line and he's said he's going to play that way for the rest of season too early to say but was MAN CITY that greater team when they won premier league in his management or is he taticaly inept. COYI.

{Ed001's Note - I did wonder myself about Ogbonna at left back, he has pace and is a capable defender. With the options available, it is either that or go back 3 with Rice dropping back.

As for Noble, he is fine if you are dominating possession, he is decent enough on the ball, it is just he lacks intelligence and so is regularly caught out by his lack of pace and strength. If you still had Kouyate and Obiang alongside him to provide the legs (similar to Jorginho at Chelsea) then you could get away with him there. But it would be getting away with it as he is not good enough to take games by the scruff of the neck and control them with his passing. I think it is time for him to be on the fringes, though he is a good captain so it is a shame that he is not as good a player.}

Absolutely spot on ED exactly what i was trying to say mate you are spot on about OGBONNA i'd rather him than CRESSWELL who can't defend and on NOBLE you are right, on the ball he's ok when things are easy but he just hasn't got the engine a C/M needs or strength and awareness i'm glad someone agrees with me on both matters . COYI.
