TACTILELY. NIEVE new players same score, As I've said before no defensive improvement whatsoever, I was not expecting t anything great but this was a massive dissapointment, defend halfway between the two lines not 18 yards out how can you have three forwards against your goalkeeper with no defender in sight look Liverpool were miles better inevery sense but this was a shell shock make no mistake. IRONMIKE.

Don’t know how we are going to address this midfield now it was obvious to everyone who supports WH BUT NOT the manager We have been crying out for 2 midfielders Wrong tactics as well for me it’s looks like spoiling a ship for halfpenny worth of tar IRONMIKE.

The problems lie deeper than just picking the correct 11. There is a fundamental issue with mentality at West Ham and this cannot be overcome in an instant. We clearly haven’t moved the players on that we would like and this has effected things.

To just write off Pellegrini after one game is a bit silly. He’s no person and will eventually get it right.

There are many decisions he made that I wouldn’t. But I’m a plumber and he’s a manager of a football club, so what do I know?

{Ed002's Note - I really don't think the club bought well in the summer. It will be a tougher season than you all seem to expect.}

I agree with you and I don’t expect a challenge for Europe. We bought players with no experience of the league, which is vital. This year is about acclimatising those players, hopefully they get the hang of it and then a few tweeks next year. But we will be ok because so many other teams are either in the same boat as us, (Fulham, Wolves, Everton) or are just generally going to struggle (Cardiff, Huddersfield, Southampton) .

Your spot on ed but wilshire wasnt as bad as rice and noble and a lot of people on here were bigging rice up as the next big thing he's ok but i'm sorry but he ain't a midfielder he ain't quick enough to track runners that's what i meant when i said you need pace to play in midfield i'm not on about wingers pace but youve got to be able to track back and track runners the reason we got battered was the high line against pace is the worst thing you can do MP's first test he failed miserably imo but its one game but clearly shows a couple of things LIVERPOOL are top draw and we ain't going to be top half of premier league imo. COYI.

{Ed001's Note - I felt sorry for Rice, he didn't have a clue how to cope with the movement. You just needed a bit better ball retention, slow the game down and try and take the sting out of it early. You just looked disorganised.}

Yes but you know how Liverpool are going to play, there never any different surely you play two banks of four first half forget the offside game and get to Half time, then take a look at it IRONMIKE.

PELLEGRINI has said he will continue to play with a high line as his defenders are comfortable doing it not for me they looked at i won't say sixes and sevens because that's insulting sixes and sevevns more like ones and no ones but our non-midfield which i ain't blowing the trumpet but i said NOBLE ain't good enough at against any team with pacey midfielders he ain't good enough full stop and rice hasn't got the awareness you need to be a midfielder so we are left with wilshire obiang and sanchez imo and got to get on with it. COYI.
