Kaneob taking the mick out of spurs not signing anyone, we don’t need anyone as we have a class squad playing champions league football. You on the other hand had to spend as you were in your usual relegation fight last season and with all the money you have spent you will still finish at least 20 points off Spurs again this season. But I’m also honest and you will definitely challenge the top 6 this season.

I think the more fans worry less about others business and more about their own clubs then this type of forum would be a happier place. I’m all for healthy debate and we are all entitled to our opinions but more often than not it’s lopsided opinion based on cherry picked facts to support a certain stance/ view/ opinion.

It is obvious to anyone that the Tottenham side needs far less investment than West Ham’s. We are miles apart at the moment. Whilst we have spent a lot of money it’s really a case of making up from previous seasons which lacked either actual investment or at least wise investment. Hopefully this is the first step in a long term, thought out project and we can start competing for those top 8 positions regularly within 5 years.

One could argue that investment is critical every year but this year even more so as a number of clubs inside and out of the top 6 have invested heavily. So whilst I am worried less for Spurs because of their brilliant manager and first rate squad I think it’s safe to say that it’s a risk to not invest at all and they may be very busy come January because Man City and Liverpool will be flying. Is Tottenham’s goal to win the league, or is it to become and Arsenal and just get that Champions leage every year? Even Klopp has worked out that to win those two you need massive investment. You’d be kidding yourself if you thought that zero investment isn’t a gamble.

Spurs are record breakers lol every team needs updating and refreshing even the best teams. You're only saying you didn't need anyone because you don't want to lose face when really. you wish you signed someone. No doubt you have a class squad. but again. new players add to competition. With this class squad you will need to win some silverware soon. Good luck though with the forthcoming season. will be a tough one for everyone.

Just a bit of light hearted banter raver haha I’m sure we’d be happy with your squad! It’s a competitive league though and feel like spurs might fall short of top four this year. Your whole team were pretty much in World Cup until the end, which is a credit to them (painful to say that haha), but that will effect at least some of them at some point during the season.

Fully agree with you 3 posters spurs have no ambition to win the league just get top 4 and the board are happy, I would definitely would have liked a top transfer in as well.
