Does anyone know what's happening with the stadium, I've heard that the mayor of London is looking into all the deals and contracts with the stadium including West Hams deal?

{Ed002's Note - Nothing is happening with the stadium in respect of West Ham.}

Stevie 66, according to the news, the deal is a 99 year lease when it was signed for the Stadium and it is water tight, but never say never!

This could be an opportunity to buy it?

If it is deemed the best option for the tax payer then maybe it could be sold, but could dgs finance the remodelling costs?

{Ed002's Note - you are all just making this stuff up. West Ham rent the facility on a shared basis - and that will continue for the foreseeable future.

I've just read It's the athletics side that is the problem, they should re home the athletics to Birmingham and let West Ham run the stadium including concerts, catering and naming rights and share the profits with the government?

{Ed002's Note - it is nothing to do with West Ham. They are simply tenants. If the club wish to tear up their agreement and renogiate it then everyone else will be in support of that.}

Agreed ed, for the foreseeable future nothing will change, unless it’s deemed to be in the public interest to change the agreement, ( however un Likely )

{Ed002's Note - The contract is nothing whatsoever to do with “public interests”.}

It will be interesting to see where this eventually leads, will dgs get there increased capitcity? Will they get the Claret Astro turf? Will the mayor get to put Boris in stocks in the centre circle and throw rotten veg at him? Will the ( not so) retractable seating be sold for scrap and replaced with deckchairs? God knows but whatever the outcome let’s hope it’s fair alround .
