Did we really pay £20m for Ayew. I just don't get what he does when he not got the ball his anonymous, can't we flog him to Marselle?

Young Declan Rice for me looks absolutely top top class already, usually you can spot straight off a star in the making and I think we have one. If WC does not come off does anyone think that young Declan can make the position his?, or still a bit to early for the lad.

Noble well what can I say, unfortunately his time has come its a shame as a great servant, he gives the ball away far to much and his concentration seems non exsistant, i'm wondering that he knows he is moving down the starting 11 and trying to hard.

I agree. Even when we bought him I thought it was a panic buy, doesn't look like he knows what he's meant to be doing. Rice look really good and for such a young player we really need to look after him. I just have this feeling he will go out on loan like oxford did.

I think nobles time has come to an end. A great servant for us but its time to get someone else in. I just pray that we get Carvalho. I just have this feeling he won't sign.

I would love to flog ayew to Marseille. Just wasted money isn't it.

Yeah agree on all points. Ayew should have been able to rip them to shreds, but nothing really all game. Rice great prospect, new Carrick? Noble, I'd keep him for squad because he deserves it if he's OK with that, but should not be 1st team, pains me to say. I did wonder if the injury last season was affecting his performances, but a fit Noble this year doesn't look any better than last unfortunately. I do think Sakho finally looked fit, but yeah didn't celebrate the goal, so he's off?
Would like to have seen more youngsters get a run out from 60 mins like Haksabanovic and Quina getting more time. Why did Noble start?
Collins, yeah solid against league 2 side, but him and Fonte have no legs anymore.

I agree Warrington. Ayew is just awful. He tries things he ain't capable of, selfish when comes to creating opportunities for others and he just runs around like a headless chicken. Too slow and technically not good enough. Hell get goals but mainly because he does a Nolan and stands on the line waiting for a tap in.
Rice looks to be a top player in the making and if we don't get carvahlo I'd say stick with him there and save the money rather than waste it on a Sunderland reject.
And sadly it's looking the end for noble. I love the guy, and it hurts to say it but he's not going to take us forward any more. The bloke is a legend for the heart blood sweat and tears he's put in to our club but he's not good enough anymore sadly.

Im not sure about a loan, he has something that bit extra, he looks for the ball he is confident on the ball, and what impressed me last night ( although against much lower opposition) he wins the ball and than does a simple pass to more advanced players, he got something about him, I really like in a player.

I don't mean to go over the top but he really really looks the part to me, obviously my opinion only but he has a maturity about him for 18 years old.

Totally agree. He looks great and bags of potential. I just really hope they don't loan him out.

If you watch NOBLE very closely when we haven't got the ball he is about two passes behind and just turns with his head in the air as if he's spaced out and the number of times he got shoulder barged off the ball nearly reached double figures, I understand he's a trier and West Ham blood running through his veins but time is up I'm afraid I'm sure he'd do a job for Brighton, Burnley, etc, etc and AYEW well I'm not sure what he brings to our team but clearly billic sees something but cash in now for both of them.
