I know there's mixed opinions about the cm position but I personally think we could do with another one on board. Obiang for me starts week in week out. After that you would think Kouyate. However he does have a few injuries and apparently he's been injured again and he's out for the start of the season. Although I will always love Noble, he's a west Ham boy Claret and Blue through and through but I feel he's days are up especially in regards to starting week in week out. That leaves Fernandes and Cullen. Both great prospects and would like both of them to get game time but its a long season with a lot of games so I think a new cm is needed. Wilshere
Silva

As far as attacking Midfielders/ Wingers are concerned, if Fegouli and hopefully Snodgrass are sold a Winger with a bit of pace and creativity should be brought in. Ideally someone whos good on the ball who can play on either wing and also play the no10 role if Lanzinis out. Out of the rumoured players to fit this criteria Keita and Laxalt no longer seem to be in the running so unless a new name comes up which hasn't already been mentioned it leaves us with these

Jota
Boudebouz
Hazzard

On the Striker front, Hernandez is obviously our main man now. Carol can be dynamite on his day, its just getting him on the pitch which is the problem. Ayew didn't have the best season last year but i'm hoping this year will be a better one for him. What do you do with Sakho? Apparently he's fit again, but for how long? Like Carol I think he will be in and out the team and i'm sure by this time next year he would have moved on. My only worry is if Hernandez goes down for a period we're as we were last year, bang in trouble. Maybe another striker might be brought in over the next couple of weeks but I can't see it being for big bucks. Gray seems to be the only name that keeps coming up or maybe someone on loan like Barbosa from Inter?

Ideally I would say:

Wilshere in. He hasn't got to play every game so worth the risk and we know he can cut it in the Prem unlike Badou.
Cullen out on loan.

Dembele in and Sakho out.

If Adrian leaves then Bentley would be a great shout. He could learn a lot from Hart and be our future number 1.

Keita would be a bonus if feghouli and snodgrass leave.

hammerdave exactly my thinking. Mike reckons Adrian has been offered a new contract which is great news! can't see us doing better than him as our no 2. That leaves Fletcher, Fegouili and HOPEFULLY Snodgrass out. Ideal scenario is I would take Silva, Boudebouz and Dembele. More realistically can see us going for Wilshere, Jota and Gray and would be happy with these.

If there is any substance in the rumoures linking us with Maximilian Arnold? Forget about Wilshere and Jota. i'd take this kid and Gray. Massive talent and can play in a number of midfield positions. I just can't see it to be honest though. There will be a lot of bigger clubs interested if he is available offering European football and in a World Cup year you would think he would have aspirations of getting in the squad. Meaning he would want guarenteed first team football.

If we've let Cullen go out on loan selling Snodgrass and feghouli we need another midfielder surely, we get injuries every year and normally we get more than most.
