I have been looking at 'rumours' and 'banter' for some while and am now so incensed at the rubbish you lot post that I have to reply.

You keep complaining about the poor signings (and they certainly have been poor) but I do not remember many posts complaining when they were signed. There was the usual comments about 'experienced at a high level'; 'will help give knowledge to the younger members of the squad'; 'worth 5, 10 or 15 goals a year' etc etc but very little about a poor signing.

I accept Bilic is struggling. that the stadium has not been a success so far, that the promising youngsters haven't been given a chance, that the tactics in hindsight seem flawed, that the last few windows have not been a success in the transfer market but why keep banging on about the board?

The two Davids are undoubtedly true West Ham United fans. They have turned a bankrupt club around in a few years and we are now financially stable, They have negotiated an unbelievable deal for a world class stadium that has yet to benefit us and they have dug deep in their pockets to finance all of this and players. All clubs make transfer errors and we are no exception and yes the last 12 -18 months have thrown up too many duds but why does this give you the right to slag them off? Their hearts and their money is in the right place and given time we will become one of the UK's bigger clubs. Please let's have more constructive comments and criticism.

HI Syd Puddiefoot. I thought you had retired in 1930" BUT apparently your still around, IF we had a striker like you today WELL! All jokes aside I MYSELF have said its time DGS moved over NOT BECAUSE they are NOT good business men and we are all aware, of all they have accomplished THE PROBLEM is that does NOT make them GREAT JUDGES of players and with the odd exception that's exactly what has happened, THEY NEED to appoint the right people between them and the manager that's the problem, and that's the point MOST people on this site agree on, , incidentally, have you got any programmes from the 1923 final I'd live one regards to you IRONMIKE.

No one is saying Sullivan and gold don't love our club are great buisness men but I have to admit that they do things wrong with us the transfer plans and they players they try get are wrong yes we should be ambitious but look at last summer we chased bacca and others for so long when we knew they wouldn't come and end up desperately loaning players last minute i. e zaza.

Zaza wasn't a bad signing it just didn't work out for him here, partly because of the contract which meant that after he played a certain number of games he had to sign because it put too much pressure on him and slav when if you ignored the fact he wasn't scoring he was making all the right runs and movements etc and goals would of come given time.

Tarring everyone with the same brush. Getting incensed with something no one forced you to read. Telling everyone to be constructive while being critical. Perhaps you should practice what you preach now you've finally graced us with your presence puddefoot.

Agreed Al94! Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and to voice what they think.

I do agree there is too much negativity and frustration here, but under all that there are some fair points. I for one want to give Slav a chance with some decent signings after the first tricky season in the new stadium is over. Then I think we will see if he's the man or not.

On the board, yeah I think they have done an amazing job to get us where we are, but I agree with IronMike, we need a better transfer set-up in place. The board seem to choose the signings, aim maybe too high, don't get the targets then panic buy at the last minute.

What's worse is they tell everyone who they're trying for (probably to placate the fans) and then after the euphoria of 'wow we're going to sign Kicky McKickball' we end up with his injury prone overweight cousin.
Let's get a director of football on the transfers, working WITH Slav, keep it quiet till it's a done deal, then make us happy with the announcement!

I'd like to see slav continue aswell tough first season in olympic stadium lots of injuries throughout can't remember the last time we played the same team twice in a row.

We made a lot of signings in the summer I'd imagine because we were in the Europa league if we didn't get knocked out so early those players would of had a lot more game time to to run the rule over unfortunately didn't work out that way. Perhaps even a blessing in disguise going out that early with how tough this season has been.

Agree with you about our owners barnie they can be very frustrating at times with all the talk of who they want to sign and how they conduct there transfer business a positive change there would make a massive differnce.

Well said barnie. A fair and constructive argument rather than some of the extreme and over the top nonsense I regularly hear on this page.
Why is it when the extremists shall we say have people disagree with them the old argument of "if you don't like don't read it" comes out? If we're all entitled to our opinions as you all say then maybe show a bit more respect to the fact not everyone thinks the same as you lot of glass half empties.
