And your telling me we didn't take the Chinese up on the opportunity to get shot of Andy Sicknote Carroll. Another master stroke that can be listed along with all the others our owners have made like NO RIGHT BACK! Ok, it would have left is short of strikers but we knew that anyway so we should have done something about it in January but NO, WE DIDN'T! And with Antonio also out it leaves us flush. Maybe Randolph up front, Lanzini CB, Byram as CF why not.

hope those purse strings are not too tight come the summer and a lot of professionalism is brought to our transfer dealings, ed please give us some positive news about dgs taking advice! Oh hang on not Likley as we can't even hold on to our new corporate guy! Any news on why he has left?

{Ed002's Note - What I have said all along is West Ham need a Director of Football or whatever - a footballing person - like Harry Redknapp for example.}

100% agreed, shame dgs are control freaks ( not always a bad thing but in this case it is ) please let them face up and accept help : ( the club deserves it.

{Ed002's Note - As I have said continuously, a Director of Football is needed by West Ham. Harry Redknapp perhaps?}

Me and you both Ed002. I keep harping on about a director of football and until that day we'll have the same joke windows every season. Harry would jump at the chance.

Seems Chelsea are ready to offload Bathshuyai.

{Ed002's Note - Chelsea has made no decision about Michy Batshuayi at this time. The lady from Marseille (the same one that I explained spoke with Payet) spoke with Batshuayi at the Training Ground when she was discussing another player with Chelsea in January and he was apparently happy but wanting game time. Obviously Costa has been fit and without disciplinary issues this season so opportunities have been rare. It is also fair to say he remains a pretty raw talent. If he leaves in the summer it won't be before a replacement is identified.}

i'm guessing that batshuayi will not be at chelsea next season.

I actually said if batshyuai is at Chelsea next season I will swim the channel in concrete boots and handcuffs.

{Ed002's Note - Batshuayi could potentially go on loan - but there is nothing decided at this time.}

Don't you think they'd want to get rid and try and get their money back ed as I think Conte doesn't rate him to play the way Conte wants rather than a loan ed.

{Ed002's Note - There is no decision at this time. He is not first choice, Costa is.}

Which is quite clear. Diego costa is first choice, however, if and when he gets injured or sold who is his replacement because he tends to play Willian and not Bathshuyai. Fairly clear indications in there somewhere!

{Ed002's Note - He has missed cup games where MB has started and two league games when he didn't. Regardless, perhaps you should take this to the Chelsea page because it is nothing whatsoever to do with West Ham.}

Except of course we tried to get him in the summer and we maintain a real interest. But nothing to do with west ham is it?

{Ed002's Note - No, it is nothing to do with West Ham - I explained the situation in the summer regarding the clubs Marseille spoke to and the interest from others who never spoke with Marseille. Perhaps you should have listened to what I said - and it remains nothing to do with West Ham. Perhaps searching will be enlightening Phil.}
