Yes, great result today 3-1 at SFC, and guess what? St. Mary's pitch size:105mx68m, London Stadium = 105mx68m!

Strange. Maybe we need some boarding or something to make it appear smaller.

I have thought the same thing.

I think most peoples point about the pitch size is the better teams will be able to use it to there advantage more than we can, with all due respect to saints I would not put them in that bracket it's all about making the away team as disadvantaged as legally possible.

I saw an interview at the LS and it was said if you look across the pitch or down the length of the pitch, it looks huge do to the actual sides / ends being so far away from the edge of the pitch.
I know this is an optical illusion but obviously our players need to get used to it.

Yeah as I've posted several times, our pitch is the smallest allowed in the premier league. So yeah maybe it's optical illusions, maybe the fact the fans are not close to the touchline anymore. but indeed we have to get used to it and deal with it!

Maybe a start would be to have the Managers dug out moved forward so SB does not have to catch a cab to get his instructions across, i'm sure some kind of moving structure can be designed.

Are not the big screen either end an optical illusion?, as from my seat it looks like people are sitting behind the screen, I definitely in agreement that we need to enclose the area to give players and fans a like a more closed in area, and a feeling there not playing at Wembley every other week.
