Hi guys, Everton fan here. I was just wondering what your opinion is of Enner Valencia?

His goal scoring record is poor, but he seems extremely quick and can create something from nothing, but that's only what I've gathered from occasionally catching one of your games. It you guys, who watch him week-in-week-out who know him best.

Is he a useful player you've let go because he's surplus to requirements, or, like I suspect, have we signed a flop? I saw a tweet ruthlessly slating him the other week, but I don't know if that is the general opinion or just a disgruntled fan.


Also like to say congratulations for signing Feghouli and Masuaku. Think Masuaku is a long way from the finished article but has great potential and on a free, Feghouli is an excellent move. Good luck for the season ahead!

The guy has all the attributes to be a good player, but he has been awful. everytime he has the ball its lost, from controlling the ball or stumbling who knows. whether he is low on confidence or its something else. every west ham fan could not wait for him to go. we could not understand why he is still getting picked to play. you never know a fresh start could do him good. but me for one so happy I don't have to watch him lose the ball anymore.

Thanks mate. This is pretty much what I was expecting, to be honest. I was extremely unsure when you bought him in the first place simply because he scored something like 3 goals against Honduras and some other small team in the world cup, but I remember his start was good enough (or at least was portrayed to be good enough on match of the day etc. ) that he won most people over.

Ah well, Pace is something we've missed upfront, so hopefully he can at least offer something different from the bench and if it doesn't work out we just won't sign him. Thanks for the feedback.
