Do we have some issues? Yes of course we do! But we also should remember that he is and cresseell are class acts and don't become bad players overnight. Their performance as with the whole defence was down to management, was it poor motivation, poor organisation or lack of leadership, ill discipline? Any or all I would suggest. Wouldn't have happened I suggest under Sam, but then we wouldn't have scored 3 goals. It is. We are early in season and I think we all should stop panicking so much and give the players a chance to adjust to new management style not just playing style. Big Sam would have thrown toys out of pram and put a rocket up their asses, slaven and co will I suspect adopt a more constructive approach, which in the long run will pay greater dividends. New players from abroad can take time to adjust let's give them at least some time before we all start berating them. We do need some reinforcements and these will come this week I am sure, but again while they may be good individual players will they fell as a team from the start? Getting rid of Downing looks even more ridiculous now, and I also think Adrian would have done better on at least two of the goals! So should we be downbeat, yes of course, but let's give it a few more games before we panic. One thing to remember confidence is everything at this level, we boo the team and then we have no confidence! We are a better team than crystal palace, Leicester, Bournemouth etc but whereas they are positive and motivated our team are low on confidence and will be terrified of screwing up, and that will lead to more defeats. We have seen this all before as we are all unfortunately hooked on the roller coaster that is West Ham!

Couldn't agree more Si1966. Got to remember BFS left us with a pretty demotivated squad at the end of last season - 3 wins in the last 19 says it all. We all know a lot of last years squad are either past it or not good enough to take us forward. A lot of us (including myself) where calling for a fresh approach and well, we have got it. Bilic is still not only developing his style but also learning about life in the Premiership! He will make mistakes (as with yesterday)and let's be honest it was an atrocious first half performance. Three games in is far too early to start getting depressed. remember this is West Ham!!!
