So, a new striker name has appeared on the list .Stephy Mavididi. It seems that we are after loan deals for Lingard and Duje Caleta-Car. IUt seems to me that's the business we appear to be trying to do this window

We always try for loan deals first. It's an understandable 'try before you buy' policy, but we have to be prepared to buy outright and take that gamble for those we want if we can't get them on loan first.

But offering a loan fee as a downpayment on future purchase is sensible.

Where Lingard is concerned this essentially (from Man Utd's perspective) amounts to buying the remainder of his contract, without committing the player to us beyond the season (so isn't truly a loan arrangement). But it keeps the player's options open and if it gives Man Utd the fee they want, then should actually be a more attractive deal for those players that will leave on a free end of the season anyway.

Always loans haven't we got past this loaning players i don't think that sets a good message to other players and current players we are going to loan you as we don't think you are good enough but if you hit the ground running you will cost us treble the asking price why do we have scouts for getting loabs in.

Agreed, just look at Alex Kral who we were chasing for a long time, apparently. I think because he didn't work out we are now treading carefully. Surely isn't it up to the manager to give him the playiung time toi prove himself and integrate him into the team. KRAL hasn't had a chance?

He sees Kral in training every single day. Competition is fierce and these guys have to earn their spot.not just be given games, which means showing in training they deserve it.

Training to a game is totally different and they have seen what he can do that's why as i said you have scouts stubbo not trying to be a know it all but what must KRAL have thought seeing a No10 playmaker filling his position in lanzini if DM didn't trust him he should never have been loaned complete waste of money but then try and low ball other clubs penny pinching but spunk money on loans that don't play complete lack of professionalism imo.
