With all this talk of goalkeepers what is the latest on our 'one for future' Jonathan Trott?

And also our other promising youngsters?

Hiya Syd assume you mean Nathan Trott - Jonathan is a cricketer.

Nathan currently at Wimbledon on a season long loan he's made 22 appearances out of 25 games Wimbldon have played in Div 1
Wimbledon are currently 1 place above the Relegation places and Nathan has kept 3 clean sheets.

I watched Nathan a few times in the U23S and was impressed with his athleticism and shot stopping

Personally thought he would have done better than Roberto but probably not as good as Martin still he's getting plenty of experience at Wimbledon.

Hes pretty small but BANKS wasnt a big guy its about reactions and flexabiity but I think its intimidating for opposition if GK is tall. COYI.

David De Gea was also too small when he came to the PL, time will tell for Nathan, but he certainly has ability, and is getting valuable time at Wimbledon (a struggling club will give him plenty of action in the penalty area to prove himself and improve) . It may be another loan next season, but let's see how he develops.
We have Randy back now as backup for Fab. Good call IMO, just need to move Roberto out now.
Ed's (or anyone else), what do the Wimbledon fans think of Nathan this season?
