Just a point of view but Joe Allen is 30 in a couple of months. Should we be signing him at his age? Great if our aim is to just stay up but is he an improvement on what we have? I don’t think so.

agree.

This is a West Ham signing of the past, or so we we´re led to believe!

Costa/ COYI, I appear to be in the minority on here with approval of Joe Allen😂🤣Possibly my age😀For me I like the experience and no nonsense type with Premiership or Championship experience, I really do feel it’s a minefield spending £100’s millions on a players that have never had the rigorous experience playing over here, it’s known to be the toughest league in the world? Once that contract’s signed for 3/ 4 years for stupid money, that’s it, I tend to look at the foreign failures more than the successes we have signed and still have, that have nowhere near lived up to the silly price tags we paid for them! ⚒⚒⚒.

Morning All

Joe Allan, well his a tidy player but is he not the same kind of player as Noble?, I appreciate if MN is injured we do suffer a little and I suppose for £8m in today money he would not be that bad a acquisition as a squad player, I can understand why some think it would be a move backwards, but we have to be realistic about things, we are in a no better position than we were 4 years ago under Bilic, we have not progressed if anything gone backwards.

Im not a Moyes fan BUT if he can steady us i'm willing to give him 3 years to see where we are, No one will get near Liverpool for the next 5 years, Man C will be the nearest challenger and can see Arsenal under Arteta progressing and obviously Leicester, but IMO apart from Liverpool and Man C its up for grabs for 3rd 4th etc, and sometimes having a so called super manager is not answer especially when your on a budget as WH and the cost of players,

So if Moyes recruitment is not the so called wonder players but steady professional who know the game and more importantly know the PL that may be our way forward, as well of course of integrating our promising young players, He has a decent squad of players who can all score and play, its getting the balance right with flair and good old fashion defending. Any Comments?

Warrington, yes agree mate with your comments, MP tended to want flair, DM wants stability, that’s my preferred option as well! I can honestly see DM turning us into a good stable position before the season finishes, I am totally convinced we will not be relegated with him in charge, that has to be our first stepping stone, then consolidate for next season! Sheffield Utd will be an interesting game to see how we deal with a strong workmanlike team that Chris Wilder has instilled in his players. ⚒⚒⚒⚒.

Im sorry but NOBLES legs are gone we are bang in trouble if you have SNODGRASS off the bench as our saviour LANZINI doesn't seem interested cresswell cannot miss the first man when crossing same applys to ANDERSON and the thing is we have a top top top player in HALLER but its the same senario we had with hernandes pumping balls round his throat he wants it on the floor he's a player just because he's tall doesn't mean everything has to be long. COYI.
