Goncalo Cardoso, 18, highly rated youngster who's been on the radars of Inter, Lazio, Benfica and even Watford. He only made his top division debut in October but has easily established himself in the Boa Vista squad. Could be a really shrewd signing this one.

i think investing in youth is a gamble but a gamble worth takeing. Ok it could be that he doesn't make it but look how many Premiership clubs have paid 25+ mil. for strikers thet don't make it. My vote is go for him.

I hope we get Albian - he is another good, young player. Don't know how he will do in the prem but is worth a punt.

I'd rather that JOHN than investing in washed up 33 year olds which we always did before i.e ARBELOA EVRA, and many more CARDOSA cost apparently £2.75 mill that's the sort of gamble I like. COYI.
