Have to agree with you we have spent 2 much time in past on strikers Lacazette batsuyi spelling. only to find we have been wasting our time. arnie will stay unless silly offer comes in. carroll n Perez will go Chico has a yr left on his contract on a decent wage and we want to recoup part of the 16 mill we paid out for him. and possibly promote one of the youngsters to 4th choice the big decision will be with which youngsters MP promotes. There’s always an issue with competing v the top six for players.

Our best arguments are that we are targeting Europe and that the incoming player would be an automatic first team pick if he stayed fit and on form.

Exactly but I get the impression that these days ( please input Ed's) that it's more about talking the agent round first then let him / her talk the player into it, I know that's a bit of a short line and leaves lots out ( player ambition just to start with ) but football is a business first and a spectator sport second . wow what have I put in my tea?
