Looks as though the papers are linking us to Maxi Gomez again, any idea which clubs are interested in him Eds?
Doubt very much he would come to WH but even less likely if big clubs are sniffing.

{Ed002's Note - Barcelona see Gomez as a Suarez replacement but the lack of an EU passport makes it very unlikely even if Malcom is sold, and their attention is elsewhere.}

If the report is true that his buy out clause drops to £21m (approx) if he drops a division, surely they’ll be a huge queue at that money.

id like to see us go after chris wood, similar kind of player to gomez but with a proven record in the prem and also home grown status despite the fact he is a kiwi.
him and grealish would sure help boost our home grown quota which is diminishing rapidly.

Would love to see us at least try but don't think we will get better players until we can keep our best players and are in Europe (Uefa - we are still miles off champs league)

But are we close to Europe? We lack squad size and class and more importantly a winning attitude, the soft underbelly is always there, I think that infuriates me more than anything else!

Aye, you are right, no where near Europe at the moment. Need to be developing youngsters for cheap good players and profit for now.
