I've just been reading that the Morata deal has stalled (Chelsea to Atletico) and West Ham could make a move for the striker, haven't got a clue if this is true or not?

With Arnautovic almost out the door, it is obvious West Ham are going to try and sign a replacement.

There have been a lot of names banded about in recent names but I've got to say, there have been a lot of names mentioned that would require large investments that just don't excite me.

Morata for example. he would cost a fortune, is probably on big wages, would probably want to increase his wages to move across London to a club not in Europe, and I'd rather not go near him.

On the other hand, two names have been mentioned today. Maxi Gomez and Krzysztof Piatek that REALLY excite me. Both are young, both play for good sides but not huge clubs, meaning they probably aren't on giant wages, both have been attracting interest of the big boys, both are physical and both have been prolific in the last season or two.


If we get one of these two, I would be a VERY happy Hammer.
