Hi fellas Round up. Things work out sometimes very strangely as PEREZ had just agreed a deal in principle to go to BETIS on loan until seasons end, that's now been cancelled, WHILST WH where trying to make end of season deal for MAXI GOMEZ Athletico have stepped in to sink that prospect, SALA has been told he can go to WH if they meet the players asking price of 22 m euros ON RICE privately Pellegrini is troubled he could lose the player and is trying to convince the boss to sort this out pronto, WH have not followed up on Heaton from Burnley, and ALMIRON looks present, y to be Newcastle NOT WH bound as we look to Nasri for a short term fix, NOT the way forward for me, we need to constantly upgrade not use polyfilla. Thanks for that update Mike I. Really think Rice is the start of another group of youngsters coming through as they did 20 years ago Diangana has proved sometimes you just need to be given the chance really need to tie him down

Concerning Rice it just goes to show how DGS are so out of touch, they have no problem paying 50k plus for average players than have no commitment and warm the bench and probably looking for a move, but for a young player who plays regularly and is such a talent they are haggling over silly money, I just don't get what is going on in there brain, as said before even if they don't rate him on his asking wages you need to get him to sign to protect a transfer fee, I still can't believe they are that stupid and something else going on.

It's hard to tell what's really going on with Rice and hard to imagine the club will let him slip away - looks like there is more to this than we know.
I would imagine that Nasri will be brought in as cover for Anderson - who can't play every game until the end of the season -Snodgrass and Wilshere (! )
Lanzini will be back in the Summer so an experienced player without a fee for cover for several players til the end of the season looks pretty sensible to me.

Perhaps Rice is not wanting to discuss and is waiting to see who comes for him? Agents are rewarded based on contracts players get so why would it be so hard to believe he is getting advice to say the right things in public but not negotiate on a contract? Been done before. Otherwise you would have to believe DGS are completely stupid.

Just shows we really should have pulled the trigger on Gomez when we had the chance. Rue missing that one he looks perfect for the prem.

Xande Silva and Holland both missing for the under23s last night, I hope it's not to soon for them after their hamstring injuries and they can take an opportunity if presented today. I hope they are %100 ready.
