WHILST. we are debating the possible incoming players, We must ask what has happened to PEREZ. The natural replacement? For Yarmolenko MP has shown he has little faith in him playing the youngster. Diangana instead, he's on a three year deal at 100k a week, what on earth did we buy him for. IRONMIKE.

Mike, in complete agreement with you! I simply have no idea how the inside dealings of buying and selling works, but as you say what an utter and complete waste of money wa Perez as well as JW has been! The manager was given complete trust of transfers as he dictated, then spends it on players that are not even worth a first team place, we have to have a squad, but if we managed our family budgets as they do, there would be a lot more homeless on the streets, absolute disgrace!,

Sorry, but I disagree.

I think on the whole, MP got his signings spot on over the summer. He strengthened areas of the starting 11 and areas of the squad. I think the only place we needed strengthening but didn't was central midfield.

When everyone is fit we have a decent squad. and let's face it, our starting front three was always going to be Anderson - Arnautovic - Yarmolenko

Perez was only ever going to be a squad player who'd be given a chance to seize a starting place when he was thrown on as a sub. His attitude has been poor since he arrived, he supposedly refused to come off the bench a few weeks ago, and frankly, whilst he was one of the players we signed on higher wages that I was surprised about, if he improves his attitude and starts showing some desire. I think he'll come good.

I love the fact youngsters from the youth teams are being given game time. I think its great that young talents are given the chance, they're always eager to show their ability, they're always hungry and they work their socks off to prove they were right to be given the chance.

I don't think older players should be given high wages just because of what they have achieved in the past. Obviously there are a few exceptions, but I'd rather see youngsters signed that are hungry to prove their worth.

Die4, it’s good to disagree, always easy to criticise after the event, I am great at that👍😂 I do think however players have it to easy and I honestly think more clauses should be in contracts that allowed clubs to get rid of if day behaviour wasn’t acceptable, ie when it was rumoured Perez refused to warm up when Antonio went on instead, of course he denied it, but that is a non professional attitude and should not be tolerated under any circumstances, a player then can hang around for the remainder of his contact earning millions, you try refusing to do what your superior asks you to do at work then refuse and see what happens!

MP got it spot on but not in midfield so he didn't get it spot on did he die4 and that was the main area from last season as well as the defence that needed strengthening mate and signing players on 100,000 a week that don't play or ain't good enough has to stop it's bordering on ridiculous IMO . COYI.

What would you guys think about bringing in 21 year old Allan Saint-Maximin as a replacement for Yarmalenko.
