Hi all Gladbach now show up but are MILES away on price for Oxford WH are talking close to 15/ 16 m euros the Germans are at 7/ 8 m euros Halfway house not going to be easy IRONMIKE.

How is oxford worth anywhere near 15m? He can't even make the bench for us. Even 7/ 8m euros seems like a lot for him.

Just showed today Koutaye and Obiang are way off what we need, their distribution, ball retention, break up play, defending and positioning nowhere near up too standard. it was like chalk and cheese once Noble and Rice came on. i think we need to move these 2 on sharpish and get in if not 1 but 2 better players!

My thoughts too only watched on a stream p poor 1 camera no commentary and it was difficult to make our who was who.

Thought Anderson looked good early on but poor defending for the Ipswitch goal.

Went to game today as above cm needs sorting Arnie is a beast Wilshire if stays fit will be class Anderson going to be one of them players who looks incredible one min then average the next but his ability on ball is exceptional, Fredrick's is going to be a key player makes a lot of runs and his cross for goal was excellent.

Balbuena did look a bit short of help at the back we are desperate and have been for years a strong very good CDM rice i think des decent but imo can't play there. COYI.

against villa I liked the way rice noble and wilshere linked up in the middle was some very tidy stuff at times.

Rice is fearless he's really growing into that role in MDF playing passes first time very carm and tidy in possession sure I can recall him doing a double dragback against Ipswich although he was a lot better at villa he did give the ball away a couple times at Ipswich.

Noble gets far to much stick in my opinion he's an important player for us always available for a pass tidy in possession makes plenty of tackles/ interceptions. shame he wasn't blessed with a bit more pace but his game doesn't need it. we are going to see the best of him this season just like the last season at Upton park when we had dimi and lanzini. he's going to have even more options infront of him now with all the new signings.

At his best, when given time and space, Noble can pick a great pass. With Rice and Wilshere around him and with the new pace up front, you might be right Iron. Al

Wilshere, too can split defences and Rice is improving all the time.

I've liked what I've seen from nobes so far he's abit of poor man's scholes or busquets not at there level but his role in the team is very important.

Rice too senses danger so well tackles very clean when we have masuaku and frederics bombing down the wings he would be perfect to sit and even drop deeper to make it a back three.

We do still need to replace obiang and kouyate. Mendes would be my choice offers a differnt dimension to our midfield creating from deep getting attacks started. then add to that a tough tackling midfielder ball winner type like Lemina or ntcham. would give us a very strong squad.

For the past 3-4 seasons i must be watching a different team as NOBLE isn't anywhere near good enough strong enough or quick enough if we are going to get away from keeping players 1 because they are west ham through and through and 2 because they had a good season or a few games last season i watched NOBLE extremely closely against man utd and i have never seen a player completely out of his depth the game just passed him by and he was two passes behind the game and i know what people are going to say well that was utd and that's exactly what we HAVE to move on from its about competing against EVERY TEAM IN PREMIER LEAGUE not just the relegation teams i ain't just singling out him either as words fail me regarding KOUYATE and OBIANG ain't a great loss we MUST REPLACE these players if we are to PROGRESS and be a top first of all 7-9 top club and see where we are then top 5-7 club with the money we are spending . COYI.

It's a team game and noble is an important cog in our side like it or not. the game against man u i remember vaguely and it seemed like that game all their 90m stars all seemed to be firing that day. we could of had modric in midfield for us that day and we'd still have got a pasting.
