Hi fellas Payet who doesn't have an official or regular representative is trying to get a last move somewhere to get a final payday this was the talk in French coffee bars and La Sala Restaraunt last weekend David Sullivan would be dead against this for personal reasons and looking past that why would you want to pay a large fee with no resale value for a player now we'll past his best days IF he was a free and IF he didn't want sky high wages it just might be considered but as things stand what on earth do WH need him for some more aggravation those of us who know properly what he was up to in London and the real reason. He shipped back to France Tout Suite don't want him back Slaven Bilic must be scratching his head this morning IRONMIKE.

So what were the reasons then? If you know so much, then why are other ITKs saying otherwise? Gauging the fans views, seeing what we all think on it.

Firstly I am not an ITK and don’t claim to be The ED 02 probably knows the main reason as well for Payets departure and just like the story with another current WH. player (though wholly different in its content ) the. Ed would not want it printed on here for obvious reasons sorry but there are some things that have to stay silent I am not being difficult or obtuse but for the privacy act has to stay that way IRONMIKE.

Know doubt one day in the future it will be public knowledge nothing stays secret for ever . Wasn’t sad at the end to see him go .

I wasn't having a go, was just asking a question? I'd have him back and I wouldn't have him back. I believe here's more to it than you say. Again not having a pop.

I'd totally have him back.

Life is too short to hold a grudge and the bloke is a fantastic player. Loyalty in football is a myth, and is only really evident when it suits all involved.

Plus if Marseille need this we should look to stitch them up. they were as much party to having us over a barrel last time as Payet was, so we should only do this if it suits us.

But the idea he wouldn't drastically improve our squad is laughable, and he doesn't rely on straight line speed so the age is only really relevant from a re-sale perspective. His dead ball delivery will be as good as ever, and his speed of thought and ability to beat a man and pick a pass will still be there. His stats for Marseille last season showed he was in as good form as ever, and would likely have gone to the World Cup but for injury.

l'OM need to sell, so offer them 15-20m EUR, and bring back the most talented player we'vwe had at our club in a very long time.

Do we really want Payet back I'd prefer to remember him for his season with us where we finished 7th He was exciting to watch and we all loved him

But I don't forget the months when he sulked and told Slav he didn't want to play for West ham any more

to resign him there would be more ifs than the David Gates song and don't forget he has missed the World Cup through Injury

I thank him for the one season and wish him the best wherever he ends up but not in East London please.

I for one agree with you stubbo, love him or hate him for they way he left and played for us the guy was class, simple, most talented player we’ve had for a long time, he’s defiantly still got it. Life is far too short to hold a grudge you are dead right. If this was true, which I think it will be unlikely, I would love to see the guy in the claret and blue again. Guess we will see what happens boys eh. Also, me personally hope jack signs for us.

How ever great he was, I don't think we should even consider it.
Age, way he left and of course whatever Mike was hinting at.
We want to move the club forward. Need players.

Offer no more than £10m that way we would've paid £20m for him if you include the first stint he had with us, and we've already sold him for £25m so we're £5m up on him, free kicks and dead ball deliveries are brilliant or we could always shove him in the reserves.

Stubbo. If we weren’t looking at other talented midfielders at this time I may agree with you. But there are others it there like Felipe Anderson and Bruno Fernandez who are younger and just as effective as he is with may I add a long term future.
Any good midfielder would improve our squad and not only Payet.
Last question would be - if he’s doing so well at Marseille, why would they be open to his departure. I for one don’t care what his reasons were behind his exit from West Ham, it was the way he orchestrated that move and the sheer lack of effort he displayed on the pitch while the hullabaloo was ongoing.

Unfortunately the suggestion these other players are as effective just isn't true.

Payer once again made the most chances in Europe's top 5 leagues last season, ahead of De Bruyne and Insigne.

They both would cost over 80m. Payet for 20m odd is a snip.

Wouldn't touch payet with a barge pole he's after a payday and a holiday.
