Hi fellas Herts Iron Gnagnon hasn't been missed he could still crop up. IF WH let Marlon go to saints it would mean we want big lumps at the back that's when I would expect them to be looking at the stade Rennes player and. Maybe Vestergatd Diop must be 6 ft 5. whats that mean about anderson? whos even targeting dawson I like to check stats on whoscored and he has a pass accuracy of 69.5% quite the contrast compared to marlon and gnangon who are at the 90% mark.

personally I'd be going all out for Zouma or smalling If they are available both got prem experience and both better than dawson.

Marlon and Gnangon are prospects and we've already have diop and rice, very young back line If reid or ogbonna departs as expected.

Gnagnon is different class to Marlon. He’s played two and a bit seasons as starting CB for team fifth in Ligue 1 with much better defensive record than Nice. Marlon had a season where he struggled to be a starter and the stats for tackles, headers, interceptions are all better for Gnagnon. Plus Gnagnon plays left CB (Diop right), Marlon played right for Nice. I’d rather pass on Marlon.

Hi Herts iron I get your point but the French league isn't the strongest it's miles behind the premiership barring the top three clubs it's not competitive.

{Ed007's Note - Yeah French teams would be bricking it to play the likes of Burnley, Huddersfield, Brighton and Bournemouth, Watford, Crystal Palace - not to mention the new massive additions of Cardiff and Fulham!}

Gnagnon would be my choice over marlon. but don't think it would happen probably ask for a similar amount if not more than what we payed for diop.

personally I would like to see us bite the bullet and just pay the asking for anderson now, you tried your best to haggle but now its time to accept that's the price for our number one target. maybe we could have got maddison and allan st maximin for the same price but too late for that now, shame.

I get we don’t want to pay over the odds for Anderson, but if it is a case of we haven’t offered the amount they want, why are we still haggling?

If Lazio keep asking for more and more, I agree move on to other targets.
