Welcome Diop, great signing in my opinion, gutted we didn't go for Maddison, 22m for a young top English player is a steal, missed a trick there like. However jack Wilshire is fit and was playing well towards end of season, get him fighting fit and sharp and he would be and is a force, we should definitely go for him, I know people will say he's had injuries but any player can be struck down with injuries, a lot of my mates are arsenal fans and they are gutted he is not staying because they know how good he can be. The powers that be get this deal done please, he's still only 26.

Follow the signings of Fredericks and Diop with Fabianski and Mawson and I think defensively we are looking pretty good.

If then pick up Anderson from Lazio and Wilshere on a free we would be improving our midfield. I personally think Wilshere is worth the chance as a free signing.

I also don’t know why we aren’t all over this Sporting Lisbon fiasco. They have a few players that have been granted permission by the Portuguese courts to terminate their contract who would be great additions to our squad.

William Carvalho (who we supposedly offered £30 million for last summer) would add steel to our defensive midfield role.

Bruno Fernandes is a very good player, very good on the ball, good movement, can play a pass and scores from midfield.

Gelson Martinez is a quality winger, him and Anderson on the wings would be full of tricks, pace, assists and goals.

Bas Dost upfront is a huge upgrade on Carroll, potent finisher, good in the air.

I personally we be all over them. Give them decent sign on fees instead of paying transfer fees and we have significantly improved a number of positions throughout the starting 11.

I mentioned these players in a post yesterday mate, so 100% agree. All would be an improvement on what we have.!
