You can also see quite clearly how badly we need central midfield reinforcements, and what a dereliction of duty it has been for the chairmen not to have recognised that and dealt with it within the last 3 windows!

Their attempts at deal making and seeking out "value" is going to look quite the false economy.

Penny wise pound foolish!

Stubbo great post. As much as I disagree with the actions yesterday I gave to say that the board gave had window after window and because of penny pinching and being greedy trying to get cheap deals we did nothing.

I personally thought first half we played well
yesterday we had few chances but as per norm
this season we didn’t score and it cost us
heavily
We were still in the game when we went 1
down but unfortunately those fans that went
on the pitch did not help us!
The stewarding was diabolical, I actually applaud
noble for what he done to that fan, what were
those fans going to achieve by running on the
pitch, if u want to protest do it against the board
not the players! Yes it may seem the players
arnt trying but it’s not there fault the board
have not strengthened the squad!
And for the rest of those so called fans that
ran on the pitch hold yr head in shame!

The fans that protested against the board I have no issue with, hitting Sullivan with a coin or whatever, not good, the fans that went onto the pitch. what did that achieve. clubs name shamed, whole country thinking we're A-holes. seen one of them getting a hiding from his own fans. what did he expect?

Should of been a day to remember as we honoured sir Bobby no will be remembered for idiots running on the pitch, watch Sullivan take the morale high ground now, everything about the club is wrong at the moment from top to bottom.

{Ed025's Note - not a fact at all Gkg it was a disgrace which ever way you look at it, to say "they had it coming" is condoning behavior like that and thats totally out of order mate..

COYI P. S i'm EXTREMLY PASSIONATE ABOUT WEST HAM THE BOARD AIN'T AND THAT'S ANOTHER FACT ED.

{Ed025's Note - i dont have all the answers Gkg and i understand and feel for the supporters mate, but writing "fact" when its not true will change nothing, there were some arrests and it showed the club in a very poor light that is a FACT..

Gkg66 how can you say no one was hurt, and nothing violent happened?

You may be right, no chairs were ripped up. I can’t comment on that because I don’t know, but David Sullivan was hit by a coin, there was fighting amongst fans, so much so, that the Burnley players put children on the substitutes bench.

In my opinion, this has reverted back to the beginning of last season. the players didn’t play bad saturday in the first half, but the minute we concede the crowd turns toxic and the players capitulate.

The board promised us high profile signings with the new stadium, they didn’t happen, but saturday was not a peaceful protest.

You say there were no arrests, that’s rubbish there were at least two, and police are looking to identify 6 more individuals.

You aren’t the only fan on this site passionate about West Ham, I don’t disagree. the board haven’t delivered, but the scenes on Saturday were ridiculous and made West Ham look ridiculous.

What potential owner is going to want to buy West Ham if the fans turn on the board and intimidate them into selling up?

The truth is, the two David’s actually prevented West Ham from going in to administration, and becoming another Wimbledon (potentially) . They have secured us financially and whilst I agree they’ve not delivered and they should sell the club to some one willing to invest, I want it to be to the right investor not some chicken shop tycoon that just wants the publicity.
