{Ed002's Note - Gaitan will move today in all probability and there has been a second discussion with Inter - but interest from England remains. An interesting option exists that will allow him to move to Zenit in the coming weeks rather than today - which is now the fall back position for Atletico but it may not suit them financially.

I still don't see any change with Dendoncker and I suspect he will stay to the summer unless a very significant offer is made. There is of course interest from Watford as well, but approaches from another higher-profile English side and a French side very recently has resulted in them being told he is not for sale.}

Newcastle have apparently agreed a deal with Leicester to take Islam Slimani on loan.

One source has told us a deal has been agreed between the two clubs, but we’ve had nothing official from either club.

West Ham and Monaco were also interested but Newcastle appear to have won the race.

So basically West Ham are signing no one. Our board really are a joke. Every other club is getting deals done, yet we seem to say 'It's hard' or 'we tried'. Fact is, they are not competent enough to get a recruitment job done at a higher level.
