Hi fellas, NO I don't feel there's anything, slapdash about transfer work Moyes is after two centre park players, and maybe two forwards to replace four forwards and. maybe one defender, he's got the bit between his teeth no doubt about it he can see the pluses and minuses, we have to go with him as do DGS, IT appears Sullivan wants to out Carroll now Gold and Brady say we must go with Moyes We must show faith in the manager Moyes wants to sell Carroll in the summer THERE are now three clubs chasing Collins Cardiff Brighton and Reading, he MUST be worth another years contract SURELY IRONMIKE.

So. If we sell:
Hernandez - poss 20m plus 100k wages
Carroll - 20m plus 100k wages
Sakho - lucky to get 12m plus 30k wages
Ayew - poss 20m? plus 70-80k wages?
I make that a possible 30-40m to re-invest plus c. 300k towards the wage bill.
Ironmike, who is available for that kind of money?

It's a difficult one, yes the board should back Moyes but I can't see how the chance to reclaim Â£20m + from Chelsea for Carroll NOW should ever be turned down if it gets offered. We won't get Â£10m in the Summer as he will have a year left on his contract plus more injuries. Sorry Moyesie but I think you need to re-think keeping Carroll

Yep agree if Chelsea what to come in with a bid now almost it seems out of desperation I mean what else it could be.? . and they put a decent bid in for Carroll u would almost be doing the club a disservice by not selling and at least covering the initial fee we paid and maybe some wages! . In the summer teams with more time and a clearer head more importantly won't be offering anywhere near the fee we might expect now! . strike why the IRONS! hot I say!

Anyone willing to pay 20m for Carroll cannot be laughed at.

I know why Moyes wants to keep Carroll. But, Andy I canâ€™t believe Iâ€™m saying it. I agree with Sully. If someone is willing to pay a transfer fee for him, take it. Not to mention saving 6 months of his wages off the wage bill.
