Mike, continuing the Sakho saga. I have gone along with the bad boy theory of Sakho, but always thought he had goals in him given the chance? Why is Hodgson willing to pay £10m for a potential problem boy and a systemic non professional, he has Tomkins to consult about his behaviour, would he not give him the nod to steer clear? WBA were willing to pay £15 but he failed a medical apparently, surely in the close knit circles of professional football the word gets around about certain players behaviour. In the light of others that have gone recently but have seemed to perform better elsewhere I am beginning to wonder where the club seems to be going wrong? I hope David Moyes can improve on who we already have and who we get if anybody in the future?

I 100% agree regarding Chicharito, he has been unfairly criticized for not succeeding in a role he should not be asked to play, playing him as the sole striker and hoofing long balls from defence expecting him to win headers and then chastising him for playing poorly is ridiculous, maybe West Ham should have a sit down and realise that after all these failed strikers at the club maybe, just maybe it isn’t that striker who is bad, look at Zaza.

As for Sakho, selling to a relegation rival is madness and besides Newcastle who seem happy to sell us Shelvey, our rivals are either saying no to selling their players or putting huge prices on their heads. I can see selling Sakho to a relegation rival coming back to bite us.

Chicharito is clearly not a bad player. But he's also not a good fit for us, since our ability to retain and use the ball isn't nearly good enough to fashion the kind of chances he requires.

To be honest this should have been obvious. He's a good player, maybe even an excellent one, but he's not a good fit for the club unfortunately.

Our strikers need to be able to play with their backs to goal, hold the ball up, and be a pivot that helps us move the play up the field.

This just isn't his skillset.

thought at the start of the season we would lack that type of creativity we haven't really seen him play with the best support we can offer due to injurys and bans. have we seen him supported by arnautovic lanzini Antonio mausauku. and possibly a deep lying play maker like dendoncker Shelvey. think it will be wrong to sell him almost won us the game at arsenal and could of had a few more for us and tbf when we have played it into him he's often bought fouls to take the pressure off. we're not to far off a team that could play to his strengths wouldn't sell. who's guna play if sakho goes and carrolls injured.

Hi stubbo he's the fifth best goals per game striker in the current premiership list and we shouldn't be selling him he's being asked to perform a Riley's can't do and it's MOYES and his SCOTTISH EGO that should be going I feel for CHIQUARITO he's always been better with a strike partner MOYES. COYI.
