good to hear I like Shelvey all my Geordie mates rate him highly. in what ball park price wise were they talking for Gomes Mike like u say he's next level!

Hi Mike. What's the situation with Carroll to Chelsea and any news on batshuyai?

Batuashyi I think too rich for our blood, IF we manage to stay up and Moyes stays on I’m sure WH will make a couple of quality signings in the summer window. BUT unfortunately can’t see a player like Gomez coming to us, at the present time, there doesn’t seem to be any truth in these Carroll rumours, IRONMIKE.

Hi Mike, obvious thing to say, but we have a great bargaining tool surely with Shelvey if Rafa is ready to offer Hart regular first team football at Newcastle if the rumours are to be believed? 😄👍 What a great deal that would be for both sides, love to have Shelvey who we really would need and great to offload Hart who we really do not need? Still think it was a shame when Randolph went to 'Boro thought he and Adrian were on a par, two decent Keepers in my view?

where's all the money mike? if quality is available now then why wait untill the summer. misinterpreted your comments about gomes his agent didn't contact west ham about a move?

don't think our owners can compete financially. need new investment.

Hi all, 1st time poster. How about Albert Tripp? He brought the last of the 10% shares from CB Holdings. To see the club progress some financial backing from him would be appreciated!

Hart belongs to man city not us Chelmsford he's only on loan so we cannot offer Hart as part of SHELVEY deal.

Sorry I missed the point but GOMEZ who and who does he play for?

WH have plenty of money, but the view is being taken as one of caution survival, then expansion only in that order, can’t risk buying expensive players and then be involved in a fire sale at seasons end if we get relegated IRONMIKE.

Hiya MIKE has the interest in CARVALHO been and gone because he's the exact player we need in the middle of the park he's in the SONG mould but twice the player. COYI.

Mike : is there any chance you can you quantify plenty ( of money)?

14.) 06 Jan 2018
06 Jan 2018 19:32:26
Mike, if we go down that 100 Million lost would have bought all those big named next level players. Were we not promised the 'next level' when we moved to OS. As you say the bottom 10 clubs can go down, but that does not stop them spending, in order to reduce that chance does it? guy.

Chelmsford Hart is on loan he isn't ours to swap, plus if he did go to Newcastle we have no back up, I doubt a good keeper would come cheap in this transfer window, plus is he allowed to join another pl club on loan? Ed can probably answer but 2 loans in one season isn't allowed is it?

Gkg66, thanks for pointing out my mistake about Hart not being ours which I obviously knew, but thought we still had a choice of whether we wanted to hang onto him or not or am I wrong if we wanted to negotiate a deal providing it suited all parties? Probably not up to date like all you younger brains as I am of the older mould as the 1944 part of my log in is my birth year, so not to hard to work out my age😄👍 But have been a huge Hammer fan since the late '50's ⚒⚒⚒👍👍👍.

risk worth taking we are already looking much better under moyes we all know where needs strengthening may aswell buy quality. why would quality signings come if we avoid relegation by the skin of our teeth in the summer. get what we need take this momentum and surge up the league.

18.) 06 Jan 2018
06 Jan 2018 20:16:08
Yeah they could continue the loan from us! Y6.

Chelmsford, you've more than earned the right to make mistakes and don't we all do it sometimes. I'm also one of the older generation known more commonly as phil1016 and I've followed and supported my beloved hammers in excess of 50 years 😂😂😂 we've both seem some hard times at west ham but I seriously think if moyes is given good money to invest wisely he could do really well as our manager what you reckon?

20.) 06 Jan 2018
06 Jan 2018 21:11:57
we definitely looking better Mac Phil and I’d reckon it’s more of a gamble NOT to spend this month . But then again it’s my business and my money at stake BUT it is our club . So I say spend!

21.) 06 Jan 2018
06 Jan 2018 21:40:35
Agreed and I reckon we should spend wisely and it should be left to. moyes to decide not sullivan.

06 Jan 2018 21:58:04
Mac3, thanks for the kind words😄👍 I think Moyes should be given a fair crack of the whip and as you say, given the resources there's no reason he can't get us mid table and beyond, he's got bags of experience, look what Hodgson's doing at Palace, I'm sure plenty of us would have been horrified had he been linked with us before we got Moyes? So as we know, never say never! ⚒⚒⚒.

Wasn't trying to be humiliate you mate I'm 50 and agree with most of your posts mate just trying to make you aware and we are not allowed to negotiate with HART until ( which I hope not) he's signed on a permanent deal and to use him as a bargaining tool keep up the good posts mate.
