Hi fellas, well the media train is pushing the lsame two names repeatedly for the new manager should BIlic not survive SORRY, in my own view taking Benitez or Mancini, is like putting a plaster on a serious wound that needs an operation, WE need a younger manager with different ideas younger players with pace, THAT is the way forward, Either of those two managers will see us back in the same position two seasons down the line IRONMIKE.

Fret not Mike, neither of them will come to West Ham and wreck their great managerial credentials working for that liar Sully.

Sean dyche?
Maybe we need a good man manager and he's worked wonders at burnley and never had money to spend.

Richelle would be immense the tactics he uses would benefit our squad and he likes using youth and has an eye for talent he bought dembele for £12 million and just sold for a tad more.

We should of got silva before he went to Watford I can see this guy managing one of the big clubs, Watford is a similar mould to hull they get buy with what they got and improve when they can, if he was at us he would have that talent plus get more talent and I'm pretty sure he would of got us to top 6.the way things our at moment I can only see one manager coming to us and that jokanovic of Fulham, yes he does have potential and is young but will he end up the next bilic, I don't see us getting anyone big, but knowing Sullivan we will end up with the Mafia boss. I know if mentioned silva but what about Eddie Howe just a thought.

Any manager worth their salt should stay well clear of West Ham! Even Curbs never managed again. Roeder, ok he was ill. Pardew came back, but Zola finished.

Benitez is the best we can hope for.

Tuchel and others of that I'll would be great but they'll feel they are destined for bigger things, and a damaging spell at the helm of our poisoned chalice could knock their careers back.

Benitez is sufficiently established and far forward in his career to be able to take that chance on a "project" club, and has a history, however tenuous, of relations with the board (plus had agreed to take us on previously) .

When I mentioned Silva about 4 months ago I was shot down. He's a class manager who we should of gone for.

Stubborn benitezs record at Real Madrid was 61% yes Real Madrid I could have got a better percentage than that there's only 3 teams in Spain I'd move heaven and earth to get EDDIE HOWE the mans a tactical genius and will 100% manage one of the bigger teams if not in England then in Spain I rate him that highly Benitez is so negative it's unreal.

{Ed001's Note - to be fair to Rafa, you have to look at the circumstances surrounding his time at Madrid. It was a period of serious unrest amongst the players, he was brought in to sort out the issues behind the scenes and he did that. He was never going to be allowed to carry on as Madrid fans didn't like the system he played with Casemiro sitting in front of the defence to protect it. Those same people that criticised Rafa for doing that are now hailing Zidane as a genius for playing Casemiro sitting in front of the defence to protect it......}

I totally understand ED we're your coming from but ain't know we haven't got a choice but given one EDDIE HOWE in my opinion although very early in his career is far and away the most talented and tactically astute manager around that could become available although Ido think he's very loyal I think he'd see West Ham as a more ambitious club if things improve result ways.

{Ed001's Note - how is he tactically astute? I fail to see in what way he is better than say Dyche. Howe has had a lot more money to spend and yet he has not exactly taken Bournemouth forward with his buys. Most of his team is still the same players they came up with. Surely Dyche has to be a better option? He has not just kept the team up but diverted most of his funds (through his own choice) into the infrastructure of the club, rather than using it to buy players.}

I like Howe, no question. But he had one other gig away from Bournemouth and failed and went running back.

Whereas Benitez has managed at the top clubs all around Europe and won things.

Howe would be a punt. Benitez is an established sure thing. He's not perfect but is tactically very astute.

One of the problems I see with British managers, whether Howe or Dyche is a lack of knowledge of foreign football. Klopp, and other top managers are showing that top players will move to clubs to play under top managers. It's a key part of recruitment.

A high profile manager will help with player recruitment.

{Ed002's Note - Someone like Martinez.}

Ed. hell no not Martinez. Took Wigan down, failed to demonstrate his ideas could work successfully at Everton.

We need to be made solid at the back but with a man in charge who has a belief he can win games against anyone.
