the way I see it is if carvalho really wanted to come then surely he can push it along a bit. starting to seem like the bacca transfer saga from last season.

Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. Sullivan stole a march by trying to get this guy on the cheap however instead of just paying the 40m release clause which in my view is very reasonable nowadays for a top top player and a position we are desperate to upgrade on he's in danger of pissing about like a dodgy car dealer only to eventually be gazumped if he's not careful. More interesting to me than Carvalho, Ndong and all the other CMs we are being linked with is who is off. Is Obiang leaving? if so bringing someone in as a replacement is hardly exciting news. Obiang will be a top drawer player so for me it's not an area we should spend fortunes.
