HI fellas, it would appear that Boro have raised the price considerably for TRAORE now that Chelsea are involved, which would see WH off, IF he does join Chelsea doubtless he, will be, loaned out to us next season after spending months warming the bench at 21. He should know better and join a club where he will play in most games, plenty of time to make money later, ON ONYEKURU, he doesn't want to play in the championship according to his agent. And WH are working on the five point totting up procedure Needed for the work permit, so there is a reasonable chance here HOWEVER, please remember, even if we do get him, he hasn't played this level before, and he may not be an instant answer, ON BANEGA, it looks as if this one has passed WH by, BUT I wouldn't be too taken in by the lowish fees quoted, it will turn out a bit more than that, OVERALL I for one don't think a good enough job is being done by our so called talent spotters, who are, supposed to be wrinkling out these gems for WH. We badly need a change at that level, ! Because at this time WH could get guidance from most of the fellas on this site, rather than use their own people IRONMIKE.

The board need to get back from holiday and sort out our buisness, wot do are scouts actually do just sit on a beach and watch all the girls go by, ssn are saying Leicester are preparing a 25 mill bid for iheanacho so if we're not carefull we will miss out on him aswell as Traore to Chelsea. they need to realise we deserve better and not just false hope we all love our club but it's about time they proved it to us and not give us another bad transfer window.

I don't think u can knock the scouts too much they have had massive successes with Payet and Lanzini! . yes Payet left but was undoubted quality that nobody had really heard of and same goes with Lanzini, u can't pick these right every season!

Add to that list Antonio kouyate obiang.

Reports are suggesting Leicester are aware of our Iheanacho interest and are willing to at least match any offer we come up with so guess that's down the swanny so let's move on. I agree with IRONMIKE. Perhaps the clowns that run our club should try checking out this forum where we all seem to identify players they have no clue about!

About time something was done about our scouts and time we appoint a director of football and do the recruiting properly.

We should of got a director of football in ages ago to help solve a big problem. we should have a very substantial transfer budget to play with, we made over 40mill in sales in last 12 months with Tompkins and payet and others to go with the budget we have for this summer, so I'm hoping that they won't let us down and get the quality we need.

As a long shot and I may get shot down here, I think they should take a gamble on Braithwaite, I don't think his mentioned on this site before, eh Phil. :)

Hey, Warrington. Your funny pmsl keep it coming. I like your posts on here cause you speak the same as me :-) PMSL

I know I keep raving about Braithwaite, but I reckon he could do a great job anywhere on the front line at a reasonable price. He's not prolific but pace to burn and he is strong and leads from the front. AT £7.5m your not going to get Messi or Ronaldo but he is a damn site better than Gorkan Tore that's for sure and We've spent more on worse (FONTE, SNODGRASS, VALENCIA to name but a few) . Marseille and FC Koln are very interested so he can't be that bad :-)

Don't know about you Warrington but I still think we are missing a trick with no director of football. With DGS on holiday the best we can do is negotiate by phone impersonal whereas if we had director of football (DoF) they could go on holiday but send him to where he needs to negotiate and sort deals out.

Heeeeeeeeeeee Ha he LMFAO and that's why our leader SLAVEN identified him as a target he he and how long did negotiating go on with Besiktas for him pmsl. We've had some priceless rubbish since DGS and Bilic have been in charge of recruitment PMFSL.

Braithwaite would be a good shout, good thing bilic is not on here he would have a fit hearing bad things about tore lmfao, I recon what will happen is Chelsea will sign traore but we will get him on loan for the season.

😂 😂 😂 the Braithwaite saga is one of the most compelling stories on here. Haha I've got this feeling we will get him and hell be a load s**t, sorry Phil lol.

Lads shall we start a fund to buy Braithwaite for Phil? I for one agree that he is definitely worth the risk at todays inflated price.

Ironmike can you set up a meeting with the trotters to kick start our 'Braithwaite for Phil' campaign.

Keep the faith lads, love the banter and all the rumours.

COYI.

I see Everton pulling another deal off and this time Sandro Ramirez from Malaga and former Barcelona player for 5.2m. i've seen him play a few times and he's a quality player! . how are we not all over this for 5mill.16 goals in 30 this season a great set piece taker too! . Everton have stolen him! .
I mean can u buy that type of player in the PML nowadays for 5mill! . yeah righto good luck with that. championship players are going for double or triple that! . joke!

22 Jun 2017 11:49:27
Ha he ha its ok, we all know that Bilic will probably play him in goal or at Centre Back, such is his tactical awareness LMFAO :-)

I must admit I really wouldn't mind us taking a punt for Lucas Perez from Arsenal (yeah ok, Deportivo want him) :-) We need pace up front and these guys provide it :-)

Phil, the directors on holiday in a crucial period of the transfer window just about sums things up how they view the windows. They have had plenty of time to go on holiday before the season ended and than to spend the window at home, but once again shows what there about

Just a bit of useless info an anagram of David Gold Sullivan is . wait for it ANAL GODS VIVID DULLS, just about sums it up for the porn stars sounds like a blue movie :? )

Exactly we need pace, closing down and hold up play up front and unfortunately for me Giroud is none of those! . yes he has undoubted quality and is effective in a team that plays most of the season attacking in the opposition's half rather than defending which he would more often than not have to do at West Ham! . he would have to change his game and start defending from the top. u can't stroll around for us we need all hands to the pump and some sprinklings of quality here and there! . Let's be honest now we start the season with the aim of not being relegated . we're not looking at Europe we're simply not good enough at the moment for that! . I mean loads slated Moses last year but look at him in an offensive team full of top top quality players around him, he's all of a sudden a top player! . it's not rocket science this game! . West Hams big mistake was last summers transfer window when we didn't push on from one of our best finishes. we went backwards in our signings and then it was too late so we are where we are today unfortunately!

Exactly Warrington for example:

ssn understand Watford have agreed a deal with Derby for Will Hughes.

It is understood the fee is an initial £4.5m rising to £7m.

This is another piece of business we should have been all over. OK fellas, we say it about lots of players but come on, if we get a chance for players at this value it HAS to be worth a punt. Even if it don't work (the same with Braithwaite) he is still young enough for us to sell on and AT LEAST get our money back

Meanwhile, the people who deal with our transfers are on holiday pMFSL :-)

Hi fellas. If Middlesbrough want more for Troure than before, I see let Chelsea have him. Let's be frank, none of us would be gutted if we never got him. Chelsea seem to be making a habit of this. It happened last year with Batshuayi where they gazumped us in the end (albeit it we weren't really in prime position to secure his signature in the first place.
With regards to Will Hughes, not sure if we are being consistent here. We continually grumble that we aren't taking risks signing unproven players and then we grumble when the club doesn't take a chance. We need some consistency with our moaning and groaning lads ( as I cast my judging eye on Phil1016) 😂😂😂.
I know we are all getting a bit irate with the lack of signings and movement, but let's have a little patience here. There is some way to go before the window shuts and let's be honest, if there is any player out there that's great, we will get beaten to the punch anyway by the bigger more commercially viable teams playing in Europe.
I'm not giving up yet and I don't grudge the owners having a holiday. After all they run businesses as well as West Ham and it must Ben stressful for them too. Let's all take a breath and be positive. Good news is - we still have Lanzini and Antonio and there is still time to improve the squad. Forever optimistic.
