Hi fellas, JUST a COINCIDENCE, I suppose BUT the media is ringing today with denials about the sale of WH, DGS are following the LINE I posted a few days back, HOWEVER I can tell you that DGS are back speaking to the original Shanghai group, that first approached them more than a year ago, The group are interested in taking over WH on a rolling basis, which translates to investment for control peacemeal, bit by bit the offer and style of the approach is interesting DGS, we shall have to wait and see if the talks move out of the infancy they are in at present IRONMIKE.

Ironmike it was on ssn saying that they want to stay in charge but sell a percentage of the club to someone else to help get more investment for transfers so do you think this is the case or do you feel they want to sell the whole club.

ANT, my post of a few days ago tells you exactly what their intentions are, WHICH is to get a major investor in. So WH can compete in the transfer market, to get back all, their own investments, BUT in doing so retain a say in what goes on in and around the. club THEY have been offered a scenario which is pretty close to that by the Shanghai consortium, , THE sticking point will come, when it comes down to what exact percentage do they want to hold in WH, the consortium want 90% leaving them with 10% between them DGS want to hold around 40% which is impossible and completely unworkable, BUT something will work out eventually either with this group or another, IRONMIKE.

Thanks Ironmike, but these guys must live in Middle Earth or Fantasia (adjoining states of CloudCuckooLand) if they think they can find an investor ready to pump his millions into West Ham without getting a major shot at making the calls in terms of running the club.
Talk about having your cake and eating it too.
If they wanna sell their toy, they can't expect the new owner allowing them to still play with that toy regardless.

I can't see anyone coming in with serious funds unless the current owners step aside.
Their egos are too big for that though.

Unless someone pays them a fortune we are stuck with them.

I recon if a Chinese or some other billionaire wants us to invest fortunes go for it to help us build to be a top 6-4 club. i've just read that if we part company with bilic we want jokanovic of Fulham to be head coach.

WHEN you say Mandzukic situation, it's been in the wind for a very long time now, Mandzukic for me is a very good hold up forward big and Rangey good header of the ball can play and hold up on the wing as well, scores a moderate few goals, SOUNDS like someone else yes our own Andy Carroll, WHY we would want two similar players beats me, could it happen SB is friendly with the player and his agent, should it happen NOT in my opinion, , we have one like that already, andhe is no youngster, we should be looking at. YOUNGER players, that's my angle IRONMIKE.

Thanks ironmike I agree he is a great player from your point of view what good young player would u go for, I would like braithwait but I just feel we are aiming for a more older experience striker. and is there any truth in that we might change our defensive coaches.

Do you think we might have a chance at getting Paco alcacer and Andre Gomes of Barcelona as they are looking to loan them out, the other is arda turan who I would love us to go for a really great winger.
