Didn't we play Juventus in a friendly at the beginning of the season? So why would asking Bayern be such a embarrassing move? It's a friendly after all.

Like all clubs Bayern play clubs of varying levels of quality in preseason, they even play local 4th or 5th division clubs from Bavaria.
So why shouldn't a game against a Premier League club like us appeal to them?

They may say No of course, but if you don't ask.
