West Ham are not expected to match the £10million fee agreed between Burnley and Hull for Robert Snodgrass. The Scottish winger has been at the centre of a bidding war involving several Premier League clubs, including the Hammers, who saw a £6m bid rejected earlier in the transfer window. Bournemouth, Middlesbrough and Crystal Palace have also been linked with Hull's top scorer but interest has cooled at the London Stadium since West Ham saw their second bid rejected.

Sofiane Feghouli's improved form at least partly explains why West Ham may have moved on from Snodgrass, who would be competing with the Algerian for a wide berth in Slaven Bilic's side that can also be filled by Michail Antonio, Andre Ayew and Manuel Lanzini. Strangely enough West Ham have also cooled interest in Scott Hogan? I ask "If Hull had agreed to £3m would we have signed Snodgrass"? Of course we would so its not the fact we have players for that position after all!

There are plenty of better creative players around Europe than Snodgrass. Especally for £10 million.

Id be happy with us taking Bojan from Stoke or Jese from PSG.

Or go all out and try to get Fekir from Lyon? - offering a big wage boost.

Alternatively Anthony Knockaert from Brighton looks lively, only 25 and £10 mill could well secure him.

Still feel like west ham should be looking at higher quality European signings, in the £20 mill range. Look at what man city did when they first got some money. went all out and bought Robinho, top class talent who attracted others to the club - We sign Snogdrass, then who's next. Elmohamady! lol

Can't believe we waste so much time over such a small amount of cash! This reminds me of Charlie Austin all over again, I wonder if the decision makers regret that!

Go get Braithwaite, he can be a striker we need. And can play outwide as a payet replacement. Makes sense to me. Better than spending 15m on hogan and 10 on snodgrass. We can get Braithwaite for no more than 12m

That's what I said below at 10.17 today. I feel quiet sorry for Brentford and Hogan over the way we've behaved over this entire saga! Knockaert works his socks off and is a livewire and still only young. Every time I've watched him he has impressed and is a game winner on his own, just what we need!

IRONTODD your such a tease :-) Dare I mention after the farce with Snodgrass and Hogan that we are very seriously interested in Perisic. Whether we get him or not is a different matter.

We STILL Need a striker and a RB and goalie would be nice

Difference between championship and premiership is massive I know you have to give them a chance to prove themselves but not for me Jordan Rhodes springs to mind just my opinion.
