I genuinely don't see this happening, but I'd take James Rodriguez in a heart beat.

If even take a swap deal for Payet.

Rodriguez would be amazing. I mention a player called borjan Baston of athletico Madrid it seems we are interested in a move for him might be a gamble but I reckon he would do well. I've got this feeling though that Hal robson Kanu will be our major signing, as no other player wants to come to us.

I for one would be furious if we sign Kanu on big salary mind u on the back of one good goal vs Belgium and he wasn't great in the other games. and even he was quoted in a local Reading paper as the least influential Reading player! . mmmm.

Rodriguez won't consider WH let's get that straight, it's nice to hear we would try for this calibar of player but that's just punching above our weight. I trust that Bilic can build upon last season and take us further, I don't believe we are a top 4 side or close but if we can keep the youngsters we have have in a few years we've a strong chance of becoming a force!
I've heard Oxford wants 40k a week? No problem son sign that 7 year deal.

IF we was somehow in race for him :
Zidane wants to sell him but Perez forbid it. 99% sure, he is staying.

Would anyone recon we should put a 25 million bid in for troy deeney because the way things are going he might be the only striker that would come to us.

West Ham United are ready to make a move for Toulouse striker Wissam Ben Yedder after his proposed transfer to Sevilla fell through, according to Get Football News France.

The Hammers are desperately trying to sign a new forward that can score them 20+ goals in the Premier League next season but have found the going tough in the transfer market.

A host of big names have either moved elsewhere or spurned the London club over the last couple of months, with plenty of transfer rumours in the process.

Ben Yedder has impressed for boyhood club Toulouse over a number of seasons and is regarded highly in France.

The 25-year-old was reportedly on the way to Sevilla before new boss Jorge Sampaoli pulled the plug on the deal.

The decision could well be to West Ham’s gain, with the Hammers linked with a move for the attacker that netted 17 Ligue 1 goals last season.
