And so it continues. Simone Zaza is the subject of a bid from WOLFSBURG so there goes another one. Bacca is being given serious consideration by Athletico Madrid so there goes another one. At this rate its looking more and more likely we'll end with Benteke and Adam Le Fondre.

Fair play to you for contributing so regularly to the site. Your point is reasonable in that we are not bidding high enough to secure our targets. We're not man city or United or Chelsea and can't risk so I am actually happy with the strategy of offering no more than players are worth. Zaza being a classic for me- a certain flop in the PL. In one or two seasons we will have the most talented set of youngsters in the side and our reputation restored. Chill everyone. COYI.
