HI fellas, this is my understanding of the robert green situation, ON which I did say personal terms were the issue, WH agreed terms with qpr 1.5m which is given to green to terminate his last year of contract as a payoff his last year with qpr is worth 2, 5m, wh offer him 4, 5m for three year deal so green gets 6m all in all, which equals 40k a week not too bad for a second keeper at his age!!mGreen. Says no he keeps the 1, 5 m and wants 7, 5m over three years which totals 9 m equals 60k a week THIS Is NOT going to happen! Lindegard wanted the same incidentally, MAYBE Randolph will play well then nobody will be needed at all, MAYBE another keeper will be sought OR mAYBE the green issue will be solved, BUT you are 100% correct I put forward BENTLEY long time past, wh should have had this local boy wrapped up long time past and they could have bought him recently for less than 1m, FRANKLY I don't know what DGS were thinking about, they might go back for him, but he will cost more than that now! Totally agree with you Mike! I'm a big fan of Bentley. The kids clearly got Talent local boy West Ham fan in fact reminds me of Hart a few years back a rough diamond at around surely that was a no brainer? Instead we get Randolph? No doubt the people in charge have made a few good signings over the last year or so but also some strange ones and some missed opportunities. Andy (sicknote pisshead) Carroll instead of Bony? And ofcourse Montero for a couple of Mill who's now ripping up premier league defences for fun? What makes it even more frustrating is that were in badly need of a winger at the moment. Still lacking quality and strength in depth. STILL having to play Nolan in the centre of the park no legs lacking creativity lack of width no wingers too narrow too predictable and obviously lack of fire power up front. Obviously haven't got the funds and its going to take another couple of seasons to tweak this squad in order to be battling in the higher regions of the league. As it stands at the moment with all the teams around us having improved. Swansea, Everton, palace, Stoke, Newcastle etc. I would place us at around a 13/14th place finish. Still I suppose survival is the most important thing this season! Without half a dozen additions I would imagine that would be it. Need Bentley, a right back, a player LIKE Halilovic, Song, Moses and a 15-20 goal a season striker to push on.
