Hi fellas, well what can you say, the three points were well deserved, we are as good as Tottenham any time, yes, Kane dived, from where I was, and rose, s goal was a fluke, however we would have taken a point pre game, so we are still on target for season, in the end this game was not about who was on the pitch, but who was on the bench, apart from Collins, there was nobody of any value to put on, Jarvis, cole, demel, obrien, if we had another quality forward with pace, and another quality mdf to replace noble we would have won this game, but I am taking great heart, from this, our first season, in the new plan, good players will, be coming in of that you can be sure, and so far only Chelsea, have outplayed us this season, things are looking good for west ham, in the seasons to come, I understand that Sam, has told dgs he is very happy at the club and would like to lead us out at the new stadium, so nothing's certain at the moment, so I am miffed but happy with today's performance! Dear Ed can you put me on rumours page, incidentally what did you think of today's game? Regards IRONMIKE

{Ed002's Note - I did not see the game Mike but am aware of the very late equaliser. And welcome back.}

Well said as always IRONMIKE.The great danger, as I have said before, is in the haste to'get rid' of Sam the situation is made worse.The team that played (great) today was, arguably, our best eleven.It contained six different players compared to last year and so, to state the obvious, the team is better because it contains better players!! Hopefully that trend will continue .Until the club can attract a manager of the calibre of, say, Ancelloti I think the people in charge have to think very carefully about ditching Sam.A week ago IRONMIKE alluded to lots of scouting and pre-contract work going on and I was hoping that you would give an insight into that work as we all want the sort of improvement you mention in your post.

Just shows starting 11 very strong. backup needs adding to. Noble decision changed the game but I agreed with it at the time but maybe not the replacement. Good result as the spuds are one of the form teams at present.

Noble being taken off was a sensible move. He was very lucky not to have picked up a second booking for that foul on Bentaleb shortly before his withdrawal.

It does however show that our current crop of starting players are solid, but we need more depth in the squad. Kouyate was superb.

Great performance from the lads. What a difference without Kevin Nolan. Midfield funtioned better and showed more hunger, bite, determination and were all round a better unit
