Ok I understand if most fans disagree with my posts they do turn out a high degree of accuracy but they MAY NOT BE WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR this is totally understandable it appears that along with the crouch scenario we are now pursuing connor wickham along with Newcastle and stoke this is unlikely as for personal reasons he would prefer to stay in the north; talking is happening with pedro obiang right now ; we were a little better yesterday hard test today against a very good side in Malaga ; surely and eventually we must play 2 up front good defending especially the wood work! but goals goals goals is what we need IRONMIKE

David's have to be brave and sack Sam. Always impressed by his defensive organisation- just look at how he had Potts operating. But going forward its just embarrassing. It's a £10m extra investment - or just think of it as pulling it forward a year. £5m to get rid of Sam and £5m on a striker. Just no Crouch please David's, go with youth like you want to.

IRONMIKE not far off the mark as always and your updates are appreciated.

I have to admit that I've been away for a week but still managed to watch our games and we are woeful. I'm hearing all these rumours about Eto, Crouch, Wickham and Hooper. Valencia isn;t fit and Jenkinson has torn hamstring??

We have no fit striker (apart from Cole) to start the season with. The Midfield is performing worse than last season and defence is the only bright side, however, with the midfiled unable to keep the ball our defence is being battered (a la Malaga game)

Has the style of football changed? NO, its worse and on this form going to be a very long hard season.

I have to give praise where its due and I believe the board has done a great job over the summer with its signings, however, I do believe that as long as Allardyce is at the helm we are never going to improve anywhere else other than in defence and in all honesty I'm not paying good hard earned money to watch us defend for 90 mins. I want to be entertained

You all slate Big Sam and he has kept us in the premiership. We have two options either play fancy football and get relegated or we can play less attractive football and stay in the prem. You all would still moan about the manager even if we was doing well because everyone wants to be the Man United equivelant and win every game. Seriously would you rather us in the championship or the Premiership? Also our players have just started playing together so they are not going to be on top of their game are they? Its also a fact that not every foreign player who have played in a different league to the Premiership will start banging in goals like you want. Seriously I think Big Sam isn't a bad manager, sometimes he gets the tactics wrong and persists with playing 4-5-1. It would be different if we had Andy Carroll playing but we don't. Its unfortunate that he is injured but we have to live with that fact and not moan about it. In my opinion Big Sam is not going anywhere because of the fact he keeps teams in the premiership. COYI
