I think he could play a good role ruffing some of the defences up (half illegally) to knock their confidences, just as AC and KN do!

Not sure cole coming back is anything to be glad about he only scored twice last season but needs must I guess. Really hope we get a result today we need a win badly with the next few games looking extremely difficult but after beating Cardiff we should be confident. Chris COYI

Is the same LOLton cole who took a pay cut to 12-16k per week to play in championship for us, while you're there talking off over top wages for average player - noble 75k per week, wonder if he took a 50% pay cut?

Glad he is back too. I was gutted when he left, a very good team player. He may not score the goals but he wins the ball and holds it up well.

Agree with the frustration but Nobby works his socks off for us. Nolan is still 30 yards away from every saving tackle (and yes I know he has a different role)

I actually agree that Noble can be a liability, but the work rate and effort he puts in each week is second to none.

He let's his heart rule his head sometimes but is that really an issue?

I personally think our midfield is not creative enough and they don't score enough. Noble only ever scores penalties and other than Nolan there isn't another midfield player in the side that will score 5 or more goals each season.

Besides Morrison we have no real flair players in the side.

I'd love to see someone similar to Gaston Ramirez at Southampton and Hatem Ben Arfa at Newcastle join the Hammers. I am not saying we will sign either of those players, but I want us to sign a player of a similar mould.

Kevin Nolan is a good goal poacher. But I don't think he is the player we need in a 4-3-3 formation. I'd love to see this as our line up when everyone is fit.
